if i feed the spiders in the hedges they come out of thier lilttle hole and bite it quickly and go back in real fast they do it over and over its funny
lol, I was trying to catch a fly in the window, to feed a pet lizard, I dropped the fly and a small spider ran out from a crack and grabbed it before I could! It was so cute. I hate I didn't get it on film. I love spiders, they are full of wonder.
I have a nice big spider in my living room too. I feed him with fly's I catch. it's cool to see how the spider runs at them and mummifies it, as soon as I throw a fly in it's web
How cool! And I thought I was the only one with a spider in my house. Actually, this one's gone now. But, the big one named Carlotta, in my other vids, is still living on my back porch. I love to watch her wrap the insects she catches.:)
I hate spiders... I'm paranoid about them, I always check the corners to make sure there are none... funny that im not scared of the ones under my bed, theres huge ones down there and im too lazy to bother with it cause they're just gonna come back.. meh, keeps the bugs away and I hate wasps too, so good riddance of those...
I used to be scared of them. I just had to learn to live with them. Like you said, too many to worry about. We live in the woods, full of spiders. Good thing is, these are harmless.
BTW, I'm lazy too, the other reason my windows stay dirty.:)
oooh my god thats discusting...how big is that thing???!! that lived in your house?? with that many webs around it? wow you actually need to stay home once and a wile and..put stuff places instead of not touching things for years....
I like spiders. It's healthier to live with some dirt, builds the immune system. Studies have shown, those who live in sterile environments get sick more often. I hate housecleaning, I've more important things to do.:)
I'm pretty healthy! Must be something to it.:) Actually this spider is now gone and,...the window has been cleaned. It's just a storage room anyway.:)
ummm... really... honeslty... you need to clean your house and dont keep spiders, unless you use your place as some horror set for movies or something, im sooo scared to spiders.. i cannot picture myself spending a nite in that house! really! oh god.... HOW CAN YOU LIVE WITH THAT SPIDER!!!?????? Jesuschrist!!!
Actually, it's an old house, rooms with high ceilings I can't reach and rooms I don't bother with because, well, I don't use them for anything more than storing stuff. These spiders are quite harmless. Arachiphobia is common, don't be ashamed. Gosh, didn't you read "Charlotte's Web" when you where a child? Spiders are cool. Thanks for being brave enough to watch the video.:)
lol, there's a small house spider in the master bedroom. I haven't the heart to move it. It's way too high up for me anyway. I sleep with a pillow over my hesd,...just in case! These spiders rarely leave the web though.
i love spiders sometimes. but i still get that "creeped out" feeling in the pit of my stomache when there that big. Cause thats one big spider.. either that or its zoomed in.
She's pretty far up there, I do have to use the zoom to get a good shot, but regardless, she's one HUGE spider. Too big for a recluse as once thought. I'd say she's a good 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches in body length. Her legs are over an inch long. She seems to be harmlees, more helpful to me than a threat.
Dude, i used to love feeding spiders, i would catch things such as those giant mosquitos and just toss em into the web, i hate the mosquitos so its benefitting me too.
As far as I know, spider has three kind of predators:praying mantis, wasp and scorpion.Spider can win these predators when they are in spider web but not outside the web.
Wow, glad your ok! I try not to get close enough to the ones that I can't identify for that very reason. Some spider venom can be quite potent and deadly.
Wow! Do they have this species there? I still don't know for sure what it is. I'm told these spiders are not dangerous, but have a sting somewhat like a bee, true? I'm familiar with the Sydney funnel weaver, those are bad news.
LOL, that's an old storage room, in a very old house. I don't go in there much. But, that spider has moved on, and it's now clean.:) The vase is still there however.
See, I "don't do windows", I have "people" to do it for me.
Around here, this particular species of wasp is called a "dirt dabber". They're quite harmless, and I being the softie that I am, usually catch & set them free. Unfortuately not the case for this wasp.
if you want to keep this spider as a pet do what i do, go to the store and buy crickets, then just take one and throw it at the web, that way you'll make sure your "pet" always has some food. plus its fun to watch
This spider is wild, and I prefer she stay that way. Don't worry, she gets plenty to eat out here on the back porch, all the free crickets she can catch & eat as well.:)
yo yo yo nigar nice catch spider, nice tape just sometimes i couldnt c.. behind that pecie... of wooden artillery. Nice spider good web.... is his nick name seb... short sebastion or sebeth... so call him mr seth YO?
Well fortunately, for the spider, I'm not like most women. This one is in a room that used to be the kitchen. This is an old house. The spider can stay until we renovate the house. Then she'll have to go. Safely relocated somewhere else of course! I respect all forms of life. There's no reason to harm her.:)
