  • wait,...I'm confused.. u can installl both cards at the same time?

  • so like after put the cards on would you have to go on the device manager or something to install it?

  • I think you should mention the AGP interface in your next video. There should be a good number of people who still have that available on their motherboards.

  • I think you should mention the AGP slot in your next video for those who still use the old interface. Beats PCI though.

  • PLEASE HELP HOW DO U INSTALL A GPU IN A SONY VAIO/LAPTOP DO U HAVE TO BUY A LAPTOP GPU OR WILL ANY GPU WII DO?

  • @atom608 you cant change a laptops gpu its soldered into the mobo

  • WAIT will the graphics card not work until you install the drivers how do you use your computer then

  • @THEKINGBETWEEN without the drivers, your computer will use basic drivers to display your desktop in a basic form which will allow you to perform basic operations. alternatively, you could use safe mode to install them.

  • Nevermind

  • Somebody help my start menu won't show for my new graphic cards

  • Thanks I just spent the last half hour trying to put a pci express into a pci slot, now I know where I went wrong

  • I think it would be nice to take ESD precautions

  • 7 people broke their slots :/

  • @XxHinderxXxFanxX 8 now...

  • My friend tried to shove a graphics card into the RAM slot..

  • Do i have to buy a graphic card, or is it already inside the computer when i buy it? Because i cant open this chassi without help... so i just want to know.. cuz my graphics in games SUCK, so graphic cards probably aren't included...

  • @Gruuten retard

  • @gmod92 fuck back to your mommy fat kid.

  • @Gruuten not my faulth you're a retard

  • Comment removed

  • @gmod92 Your the retard, you cant even spell fault right. Also you do know you have spell-check right? Idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • @GrinchyBlob Since we're complaining on eachother's spelling. You know that you should have started your sentence with "You're", and NOT "Your". And I see that all of your uploads on your channel is about ponies, which is a bit scary, in my opinion. I would also like to add that I'm not from an english-speaking country, so you have the advantage on the language. So before you complain on my spelling, you should atleast have something to back up your argument.

    P.S. I don't have spell-check.

  • @gmod92 Well how would you get a H in there if its not your first language.Where do people say faulth then?

  • @gmod92 Also you don't even know how to cap letters.

  • @GrinchyBlob By the way, I didn't user capitals, because I was typing in my "internet language". Almost no one on the internet cares how you spell it. The only thing they care about is understanding it. What I mean with that is that you knew that I meant fault, and yet you complained on my spelling.

  • @gmod92 Use*, in case you care.

  • @gmod92 Oh really? How come now you use caps?

  • @GrinchyBlob Because if I don't; you will complain.

  • @gmod92 Actually no. But he is a retard.

  • @gmod92 But I also agree he is a retard.

  • @Gruuten What I meant is... graphic cards are REQUIRED for a PC to run. That's why I thought you were a little bit retarded.

  • @gmod92 Agreed

  • @Gruuten Wow. Do you even know what a computer needs?

  • this is too hard for me, i cant open my chassi without destroying the sides....

  • WTF IDONTGET THIS ITSSOOO HARD HELP ME PLEASE

  • My computer is tiny. can a GeForce 520 fit?

  • Sooo... you can have 2 video cards?

  • it's that easy

  • Your shitting me.....

  • mine does not fit... any advice?

  • @AlwaysTricking Just jam it in there as hard as you can!

    No JK don't do that.

  • WOW that was easy, best but was going to charge me 50 bucks so that i could install my 1gb ati rateon agb graphics card.

  • MY pci has a lot of wires going into it?

  • how can i do this for my laptop because i really want to play certain games but i dont have a good enough video card

  • i do this when my computer is plugged.

    and it hurts. alot

  • ok, if you hook up both the PCI and the PCI XL does it upgrade it even more than having just one of them in?

  • can work in asus P5GC-MX/1333 operating system:vista

this is a vd card Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family can remove it or not

  • DOES IT SAY PCI OR P... ON THE CARD THING

  • "It's that simple"... So now I can just turn on my computer and use it with out connecting the GPU to the power supply?

  • @Olemassacre

no when yoju buy a fancy expansive card you do have to connect to the power supply

but when you have a budget card it will just pull power out of the board

  • @Olemassacre exactly. it runs through pci. learn your stuff before you try to act smart next time

  • @dalynthesk8r Thank you for your comment. How ever, I have a few questions:

When I connected my GPU it required it's own power cable, or it would not run. How come you say "exactly"?

You also tell me to learn my stuff before I try to act smart. What is the meaning of watching tutorials if I allready know what I am searching for? And how do I act smart? If you know, please dont hesitate to tell me!

  • @Olemassacre old gpu's dont need to be plugged in to the psu.

  • @Olemassacre Uhh, take a look at those cards man, cards like that most likely don't require any connectors from the power supply, they just run off the motherboard.

  • @Olemassacre uhhhmmm...yes

  • ARE YOU ABLE TO ADD A GRAPHICS CARD TO THE GX620 ??

  • is there a nvidia for laptop

  • @yasinsevik11 yes there is, look it up for once instead of asking hear.

  • installing ram and graphics card is the easiest thing you can do :P

  • thanks

  • can any graphics card work on any computer?

  • @bagleb0y you need to make sure that your motherboard matches the videocard.

  • @vibers9 how do i do that if i cant check when the one i wanna buy is online will it say something

  • @bagleb0y you can tell me what motherboard do you have and what graphics card do you want and I can tell you if it can work on your pc :P. To know what kind of motherboard do you have

  • @bagleb0y you need a strong enough power supply to run it, and there are different types of cards for different motherboards

  • i installed my GRAPHICS CARD properly but it didnt DETECT by the COMPUTER.. HELP ME....

  • @mRresUy umm is your computer powerful enough to run it?

  • @seanannershutchCoDRE i dont know ?

  • @mRresUy did you install the drivers?

  • @mRresUy and is your power supply strong enough to run it?

  • how comes my your case is much more fater than my case will it still be big enugh?

  • i have pci e x16 dose it support graphic card

  • @MrDeviluday Yes it shood if it dose'nt it means it is faulty of just your motherboard guide book

  • @MrDeviluday it supports even high-end video cards. It is the slot to have.

  • Thank you soooo much for this video. My friends dad was selling a graphics card from his computer for $60. And I didnt know if I had a pci Express.

Another question is that an inspiron 5305?

    thanks again. =)

  • Geek squad hacked 6 accounts and spammed the dislike so people will pay them to install it for them ._.

  • is there an adapter available? i have a nice graphics psi express but only pci slots........?

  • wont let me play on minecraft says bad video card

  • That weren't even a graphic card...

I got an: amd 3000+ graphic card and i'm gonna install a: Ati Radeon HD 5770 1 GB on my computer... you're video did'nt show anythin' about that...

  • i have a wire blocking the slot. you seem promising and i was wondering if there was a way around the wire

  • PROBLEM!!!!! i installed it and start up my computer it turns on but, my moniter says no signal please help me.

  • @thehalo3videomaker does your cable connected to your graphic card?...

  • I can`t belive geek squad charges 150 dollards for this installation.

  • @boeingsarethebest my friend was charged $120.00 by RIP(geek) squad for checking his computer only

  • @boeingsarethebest geek squad is a total rip off, before i knew anything about computer hardware, they tried to charge me 220$ to replace my power supply unit

  • @boeingsarethebest I KNOWWW, I FUCKINGG KNOWWWW

  • @deathxe5 what

  • @boeingsarethebest thats expensive

  • @deathxe5 i know.

  • @boeingsarethebest And i cant believe its not butter! nehehheeheh.

  • Wait so you just put it in and that's it you can put whatever you want in any pc?

  • I never knew it was so easy. Right? you just insert it in. like a penis into a vagina.

  • @zerocoll7711 How do you do that?.

  • do i need to know my power supply wattage or not?

  • i got a new graphics card but when my computer starts up it gives me a pop up (VGA adapter VGA connector / new hardware found) then my computer restarts b4 i can do anything. what do it do? does this mean my computer cant handle my graphics card?

  • How do I remove that metal frame in the front?

  • My graphiccard can't get removed, since there is no screw holding it. Can someone help me how I remove the card, cause I have tried to find any solution =(

  • But it's recomanded to ground your self , or discharge by touching a pice of metal.

  • You have the same computer and the same graphics card as me!

  • WTF people actully pay people to do this?!?! O_O wow people are dumb...

  • what was the slot next to the card on the left??

  • press f5 to skip the annoying ads!!!

  • i have one PCI express and 2 PCI slots open, can i use all 3 together? like combine all the power of like 3 kinda good cards to make the graphics really nice?

  • @Nevanator7 if your motherboard supports SLI mode

  • @Und3ad50ldier thank you for the reply but my computer was given to me and i'm not sure if it supports SLI mode, how can i find out?

  • @Nevanator7 if it has 2 PCI together chances are it supports SLI but if the mobo is older it still might not.... for 100% accuracy open up your case, and look at the kind of mobo and the model, google the manual and that will tell you ALL you need to know about it

  • @Und3ad50ldier okay good idea and i believe it is a rather old mobo 2005 or older probably, it has 3 PCI together but i will still check, thanks

  • @Und3ad50ldier hey man sorry to bother you again but i did some research on it, the mobo is an AmethystM-GL6E. i found out that the graphics are integrated, which means built in? so is there a limit on how powerful the graphics card is? the PDF i found doesn't say anything on the video card limit.

  • @Nevanator7 no problem at all. no you just HAVE to make shure that the power supply you have will be OK for the cards you are wanting.and yes integrated means built in. i would also go for a 1GB Graphics card rather than 2 512MB or 2GB Rather than 2 1GB And so on, just to make shure, that you are good.i would reccomend a 550WATT or 650WATT for 2 cards or 500 WATT FOR ONE. That way you have enough room for expansion. and trust me, i build alot of computers. i f you need more info PM me

  • @Nevanator7 look up sli and/or crossfire

  • @Gergin8or yeah i found nothing about those on the PDF i found.

  • @Nevanator7 You can't run cards in a PCI slot in SLI. It has to be PCIe only.

  • @Nevanator7 No no no.. You cant use PCIE and PCI! That wont work at all.. Only you can do that with PCIE and another PCIE using SLI.

  • @Nevanator7 yes you can but you will need a nice power supply if you would :-)

  • @Nevanator7 Yeah it is possible to combine 3 kinda graphic cards.

  • @Nevanator7No since you only have one PCI Express slot you can only install one graphics card unless if you have multiple PCI express slot then you can install more cards like most of the modern computer they have 2 or more PCIE slot

  • @Nevanator7 combining slots have to be of same type for that purpose,,,,,for ex. u can put two Gcards on two differnt PCI express slots and then add them together with crossfire connector that comes with a Gcard itself or u can get one fron shop......so...yes its possible..but slots have to be of same types.......

  • @Nevanator7

    No.

  • @Nevanator7 i know this is 8 months old, but with ati you can do something called crossfire with 2 pci slots

  • @Kegath pci-E slots, x8 or x16. pci slots are basically x1, slow as fuck.

  • @wo0obly and what does this have to do with anything? i was answering the guys question with an answer.

  • @Kegath cause you said pci, i just wanted to say that there are x8 and x16 slots aswell lol.

  • @Nevanator7 only if there is cross fir support, which is in only really high power cards and you would reequire a lot of space and a huge power supply, you got to have be hardcore and have a job cuz allowance aint gonna cut it XD

  • @xXEPIKgamerXx Haha. Well thanks for the help anyway

  • @Nevanator7 no no you cannot :L u need pci-e for gfx cards and a crossfire/sli supportive mobo

  • @Nevanator7 If you have amd look up crossfire if you have nvidia look up sli but check to see if they support crossfire/sli

  • @Nevanator7 you can't combine PCI and PCI Express, however you can combine two PCI Express though.

You'll need a Crossfire or SLI bridge and 2 identical cards

  • @Nevanator7 You can only do that (It's called crossfire or SLI) if you have two PCI Express slots. It won't work with regular PCI. Also, the cards have to be identical. Your motherboard has to support crossfire or SLI as well.

  • Do you install the drivers and software BEFORE you change the Graphics card?

  • Dont tuch the gold pins,!

  • @eivindrew On a Gtx 480 or a 5970 yeah I wouldn't touch the pads but on a $20 card I see no problem.

  • @tehklutzking True, haha :P

  • Sir, how much is the graphic card? I have a shitty dell computer and i want to connect 2 or 3 monitors together. Can you tell me which one i have to buy and where i could buy cheap one.

  • Could anyone tell me if a graphics card with PCI-E 2.0 x16 will fit in a PCI-E x16 slot

  • @shadde94 All PCI are backwards compatible. If you put a PCI-E 2.0 in a PCI-E 1.0 motherboard it will not be compatible.

  • i hate that weak video card

    i tried it

  • look at the cooling

this will not have any cooler

  • I have a quick question. I have a Windows XP PC and i was wondering if i need to get the PCI Express or just the PCI. Someone please answer.

  • i no its just peeps get so freeked out when they see all the stuff in there pc and they think they will brake it but if you look threw my eyes its like a puzzle

  • @iSilverwolf

Its like legos for me :P

  • @0BByIStr3n pci express is thin and long normal pci is white and thick

  • @0BByIStr3n my motherboard is the same 3 pci white slots and 1 pci express

i'm upgrading my video card with nvidia geforce 8400 gs i ordered it monday i'm waiting now i'm using integrated intel 224 mb shader model 2 it sucks

  • @0BByIStr3n 3 pci and 1 pci express

  • THATS ALL WHAT SHE SAID

  • one questions...i have 2 video cards in my one computer but when i install w7 the computer only install the drivers for one graphics card but not the other....do i need to install the driver for the other one???

  • @0BByIStr3n what do u mean u have no other slots?

  • @0BByIStr3n white orange dont mean a thing that is just a color thing whit ur motherboard just line the card up with the right slot

  • lol at people qqing about how to put a gcard in ,made my first pc when i was 12

  • What sucks about my CPU is that it can't fit some of the better graphics cards. Why? BECAUSE TWO THICK, RED WIRES ARE BLOCKING IT AND I AM TOO NERVOUS TO MOVE THEM AROUND TOO MUCH!

  • @0coldfinger0 You know what those are? They are S-ATA connectors, for your hard drives. Don't worry: you can move them around.

  • @PokePackOpener14 Yeah, I don't know very much about computers, but the thing about those wires are that they make no room for bigger graphics cards. Even if I try moving them around.

  • please reply asap.. my computer power suply is 150 watts and i baught a graphic car thats rated at 300 watts would anny thing happen to my computer??

  • @nunucpt you need to buy atleast a 500 watt power supply what may happen if u dont is it might not start up or if it does it will run slow

  • @nunucpt Yes. Upgrade your power supply: otherwise, it won't power on.

  • @nunucpt lol you shoud've bought geforce 8400 gs only consumes 77 watts

  • HI, Im going to buy a new PC. Im going to have two Graphic Cards. How does it work? Doesnt a graphic card need to be hooked to your moniter? How do i hook up to of them?

  • @uphill248 If you're gonna get a dual card setup, you will need 2 graphics card slots. For example, 2x PCI-Express 2.0. Put both cards in the slots. If you see a small connector on top of the card: that's a SLI or CrossFire connector. Grab the SLI/Crossfire cable, and hook it up to both cards. Attach the monitor cable to the rear I/O of the top card. If the cards have 6 or 8 pin power connectors, attach them. Make sure your power supply has enough watts. Also, disable the old card. devicemanager

  • @uphill248 You use SLI connector (NVIDIA) or a CrossfireX Connector (ATI) to connect the 2 cards. the connector is a small cable that you can connect the two cards together with, but u have to keep in mind that it has to be two cards with either the same chipset, or just a pair of the same card.

  • @uphill248 Go for the 5970. It is newer, has better technologies.

  • can u run the pc with both cards inside???

  • Does every computer have that black doc thing inside? Because mine doesn't and I have a gateway 200-s windows xp

  • Ya guys know those little pieces you unscrew on the back of your pc? (That you put one end of the card through?)

Yeah, I can't for the life of me figure em' out. No screws whatsoever, and it's very vague as to how to pop em' open.

What I'm talking about is in my IBM PC that I haven't actually used yet. Any help?

    I'm afraid I'll break something. ''-_-

  • can i take out an intergrated video card from my computer

  • @fuge805 no

  • How do i know if my motherboard can support a PCI Express, without opening the computer up? Is there a way?

  • @OhWhatIsItNow open your pc if its thin and long its pci express

  • How do i check if I have a pci or pci express slot without opening my computer case.

  • you look up your motherboard online and usually the manufacturer will have pictures

but why? opening your case takes a few seconds

  • well because the last computer I opened up to clean something, never worked again

  • @heldiney17 you should be able to find it online....put in ur computer model and it will tell you which kind you have

  • @heldiney17 You can go to the manufacturer's website, it will be there. But just open it up, nothing to be afraid of.

  • any one know any videos with graphics cards and low profile brackets install?

  • I have a Gigabyte GA-945GZM-S2 motherboard and I am looking to buy a new video card . What kind of video card can i put on this ?? I am a little down on budget so I found a nice deal on a Gainward nVidia GeForce 8400 GS, 512MB, DDR2, Fan, HDMI, PCI-E . Is this compatible with my motherboard ??

  • @0740256769 Yes it is.
