  • that shot was fucking outstanding good one @bgwvrdr

  • OMG it went through!!

  • how much is the draw back on that man??..

  • nice n legal in the uk :)

  • how powerful is that? thinkin of gettin me one

  • what do yall hunt in hawaii? and are you from there or a visitor?

  • nice

  • Did that go throgh the pig or am I tripping?

  • @archbishop09 Right through and hi the dirt in the backround. it ran 30 yards and dropped.

  • what a boring animal

  • Damn this was a little bully hog.. It wouldve been great tomsee him crying with an arrow through his heart

  • What's the max ramge of a crossbow ?

  • @MegaGamerRO about 30 yards on the spot

  • @bgwvrdr Bows have longer range ?

  • Are you disabled? Because that's the only way you can hunt in Hawaii with a crossbow!

  • @kpd174 No, but private land owners can use cross bows

  • @mrjules2008 Hate to burst your bubble, ignorant twat, but different states have different laws. Some places you can use what you want, others there are seasons for different weapons. Also depends on proximity to cities.

"scatter" Is not bullshit. Watch some hunting videos. 1st shot, and they scatter, he described that correctly.

"contradicts" In what way? Nevermind, you are an idiot.

  • so are you saying that your laws dont allow you to use a shotgun? i dont think so. am i talking to the bloke in the vid? kinda think you enjoy your crossbow too much an just concerned animals suffer. the scatter stuff is bullshit too but kinda contradicts what you said about "laws permitting". peace out anyways

  • if its not sport and more an extermination thing as some (americans?)have said, then why not kill it as painlessly as possible. i aint no gunhead but some sort o shotgun?

  • Good huntin'!

  • @iTurtlFux Thank You

  • Wayne

  • @freemanbrook You are right about them damaging our ecosystem...Rules and Regulations is whats keeping the hunters from controlling these pigs. It was all under control for hundreds of years prior to the illegal overthrow of our Kingdom. Maybe it isn't the pua'a that needs to be eradicated.

  • did you at least eat it?

  • that must be incredibly painful. unneccessary in my opinion but im sure lots of people enjoy it

  • @freemanbrook ...Pigs or Pua'a in our language have been in our Hawaiian culture for over a 1000 years..it was brought here by the first Hawaiian/Polynesian settlers.

  • bye bye ms.Piggy

  • camper

  • what size game can you hunt with a 80lb piston crossbow ?? (160fps)

  • Looks like the arrow went thru, didn't it?

  • Why did you shoot him? uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... I dunno? "scratching head" lol

  • おh! はずれたと思ったら突き抜けてるじゃん!!

    shoooooted!

  • Do bolts often go through like that?

  • u make kalua pork?

  • very nice shot.. I am surprised the boar didn't scream or make any noise. I am thinking about getting the same bow from walmart. I live in canada so we dont have these but there is other big game out here

  • thats what he gets for being stingey lol

  • Caçadores Imbecis.........Isso é triste. Em pleno século 21 existem pessoas que precisam fazer isso para se sentirem alguém. Acho que não se civilaram ainda.

  • how much did that boar weigh?

  • gonna crossbow hunt this year, Hell the Hogs here in Texas are thick as hell, we cant kill of enough these things..cant wait to roast me some pork, this spring and summer

  • Great vid! Check out our channel to see our funny hunting safety cartoons for kids!

  • Never hunted with a crossbow . I go after Deer with 60 - 80 # trad bows . But I want to get my hands on a crossbow . Nice video and nice Boar !

  • Baiting is weak.

  • very nice shot.. man i'd love to try a hog hunt.. don't have them here in my area.. what you guys commenting have to remember is that us hunters ONLY shoot what we eat unless it's a management scenario such as gophers, fox, coyotes that are detrimental to our farmers cattle and chickens, etc..

  • Do you eat them or something because otherwise this is fucking stupid, cruel and pointless.

  • @OriginalYTName Yes we eat the pigs. Its all organic and very healthy. we smoke them also and its great to eat and drink some brews

  • is 150 draw weight good

  • @alboboy995 Almost to powerfull, would suggest 100-130

  • Don't those hogs have serious hide on em? How many pounds did you have that sucker set on??

  • @ArmySniper3 its a 60 lb cross bow

  • you fucking dumb yanks are only happy when ur killing things, took alot of skill that putting food down and shooting it from a high vantage point a true sportsman

  • @blackwaterhackles What are humans supposed to do, strip naked and run on all four, attacking the beasts like we're beasts? Hogs have tusks, bears have claws, and humans have brains. We're intelligent enough to bait and hide, and that is no different than any other animal hunting with its assets. Aside from that, quite a few predators in the animal kingdom lure prey in using scents or lights, etc, then attack from above. Why should humans be no different?

  • @AliasWriter excellent analysis bro

  • what's the zoom on that scope and how far away were you?

  • @VidubLtd 3x9 and we were about 20 yards or so.

  • that went straight fuckin through em

  • Wow, that bolt went straight through that pig. You can see it hit the dirt behind him. Would take a fairly large caliber rifle to do the same I'd think.

  • XD nice tool

  • Go Hawai'i! :)

    Oahu GROWN!

  • thats one fast boar O.o

  • Why did you shoot him?

  • @DonutsAreGay Cuz he's weaker, stupid, and I think he said something about your mom.

  • @DonutsAreGay we need meat.

  • @DonutsAreGay good meat

  • @DonutsAreGay

They're also pests. There are more of these things then the region is supposed to be able to handle. The problem is bad enough in some places that they give out ammunition for free to remove them.

  • What kine Crossbow is this? Retail? Im looking to get one. Nice shot.

  • what's the effective range of a crossbow?

  • i know this sounds retarded as i own one myself, but how much are crossbow arrows?

  • @ltsDj It depends on the draw weight and the length bolt you need :/ best bet is to go through google shopping, or take one of your own to the nearest hunting store i should imagine. My bow's only a piddling little thing by comparison, but it's easy enough to source bolts for it

  • haha shot that son bitch!

  • shit went straight through that boar lol

  • Nice shot! Are you using a Horton? Regular broadheads? Just curious..

  • Nice shot! Are you using a Horton? Regular broadheads? Just curious..

  • u have to be disabeld to hunt with a cross bow

  • DANG Went Right through it :O

  • shit went all the way trough it

  • hopehully that pig had flaq jacket

  • @XxXHuntress Sorry, one has pulleys, the other is old fashion with just limbs and strings. I like compound better.

  • That looked like it went in and exited the other side. I think yoiu could see the bolt make a splash on the dirt behind the boar.

  • @chonyc77 Your right, it went right through, he ran about 30yards and dropped dead. Great Barbecue.

  • im new to hunting how much pounds of a crossbow or compound do u need to really kill a deer?

  • @SilentSnipershot I would go to a proffessional shop and work with them. They can really help you. I recomend at least 120lbs.

  • @bgwvrdr you can kill a deer or boar with 40 pounds and up you just have to hit them in the vitals.

  • @SilentSnipershot....at least 40 lbs for compound and at least 75 for crossbow

  • @SilentSnipershot i would go with 150.

  • @SilentSnipershot for a deer u need 45 to 50 pound if your looking for a recurve 50 pound would be about 200 to 400 bucks for a compund about the same

  • @SilentSnipershot

With a crossbow, you need that crazy weight like 120-150.... but with a compound bow all you need is 40. Seriously.

  • @SilentSnipershot not really pounds but feet per second (fps) 300fps and up will kill a deer but the faster the better

  • @SilentSnipershot 150lb in aus and law is min 3 blade brord head

  • @SilentSnipershot A crossbow has to have roughly twice the draw weight of a regular bow in order to have the same effect. My Horton Yukon crossbow has a draw weight of 150 pounds which works out to 75 pounds of draw weight in a regular bow.I am told that at least 60 pounds of draw weight will reliably kill a deer sized animal.

  • @XxXHuntress I like them both. Totaly different. Cross bow is like a gun and a bow combined. A revcurve is like the ral thing, bow hunting at its most carnal level.

  • how could you, that was so cruel......, lol jks, nice shooting, what poundage was that crossbow, i have a couple of 150lb crossies and im thinkin of knockin over a few goats in the flinders rangers in australia any advice you have on crossbow hunting would be much appreciated, cheers

  • @donorcanvas My advice is just have fun, and if posible eat what you kill. UI like lighter cross bows that may be not as powerfull, but easy to carry. This is a barnett at only 130lbs.

  • @bgwvrdr cheers mate, one of my 150's is heavy as hell but the other is light as, could carry it all day, i got a 4X40 huntin scope on one of them but have to change it to the lighter bow, but yeah i fully intend to eat what i kill, (well within reason, we have a big fox problem over here, but you couldnt pay me enough to eat one of them, lol) do ya know what length the powerstroke on your bow is? cheers mate

  • @donorcanvas If you ever need help eliominating foxs, let me know :) Sounds like a fun day.

  • @bgwvrdr cool sounds good, they are good sport, and if im ever in your neck of the woods id love to knock over a boar or two, anyway have fun and happy hunting

  • @freemanbrook hahaha its cool, yeah i make bows, and i also bought land in north dakota, so yea, what most people don't know is that we help way more then hurt the land that we own

  • @freemanbrook i really don't think you understand why i stated those comments before....but thanks for the book recomendation if its at the library i'll pick it up

  • @freemanbrook yeah ive gotten a tendoncut by a hockey skate, it just went numb for me didn't hurt later either, well that was a nice lesson, but you realize i'm not saying that this guys shot was painful to the animal right?

  • @freemanbrook really? i didint know that. but what i was saying is if you severed the head not the spine

  • nice vid. terrible shot.

  • @jfmn24 Pig was hit right through the heart, ran 30 yards and dropped. Watch video again, and you see the pig run off then disapear, thats because he hits the ground.

  • @MrBobsrevenge what? i don't bait personally because i like to search with my freinds but.... the whole point of hunting is using your brain, u bait fish right? when most people hunt they use animal calls to stop the game, in almost every aspect of this sport most people will do somthing to try and stop the animal for a perfect shot, you dont want to miss the lungs area and have the animal suffer with a arrow in its leg or somthing.

  • @TheMHandDSfan i know you dont retard but the guy in the video it looked as he had corn or something they were feeding on. and i dont fish i just got a deer on saturday because did i bait? no i used skill and i waited on the ground cause im pro like taht tree stands are for people who stink and dont want to be smelled

  • @MrBobsrevenge ummm....ok my comment was in defence of the person not me....and as to the imma a pro comment, even pros use tree stands just saying

  • @TheMHandDSfan Thanks for your support, this guy has some personel issues. Why do they even watch these videos???

  • @MrBobsrevenge If you think you can stalk a pig in 8 foot tall grass and actualy get one with an arrow, then bring it on and show me your video. We bait to get the pigs out of the tall grass and to come into sight. Then we can place a good shot on them and not miss or injur them. We also stalk hunt with no bait in the summer when the grass is chewed down by the cows.

  • Is that guy wearing makeup? Oo

  • @dakmessaja No, just inherited long eyelashes.

  • @bgwvrdr Respect :)

  • invest in a gun.

  • @SidESKiT we love to gun hunt also. Cross bow is just as deadly. The pig ran 30 yards and dropped dead.

  • I gotta say great video...I love the bows affectiveness...very little noise = good hunting you could get a full time job cleaning up outback Australia with that crossbow! Thanks for sharing !

  • @wildmandazza lol thats why i bought my crossbows, goats and foxes ( my bows are 150lb with a 12' powerstroke and are a little light for pigs) might take down some roos though, just gotta get in close enough, those bastards are skittish

  • @wildmandazza Any time, and thanks for watching :)

  • This is fucking hunting its a lot of hurt for the pig !!!

  • can you poison the projectile?

  • @Elfonz0 No

  • that went rite through! nice shot too! what bowgun or crossbow is that ? must of cost a shit load!

  • why use a crossbow when you can kill them cleanly with a rifle? how long did it take to die? how much pain did it have to go through? did you go with the crossbow because you enjoy watching it die slowely and painfully? so many questions about you archers and crossbowers.. not against hunting, just against cruelty.

  • @MrRedeyedJedi i think its because its a more traditional type of hunting alot of the time, plus... the crossbow and regular bow are both much more quiet, and the requirements to buy them are much less hard to go through.

  • @MrRedeyedJedi Maybe it wasnt Rifle season?????It died in 20 seconds. Not much pain at all.I dont think they like watching animals die slowley you asswipe. This is hunting.Wether you use a bow or rifle or muzzle loader.People like you that fuck it up for everybody else.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrRedeyedJedi a clean shot through the lungs is basicly the same thing with a rifle. If you shoot it in the head or leg with either weapon its gonna suffer, plus using a gun requires less skill(in my opion), so people use bows as a way to even the playing feild. if you really don't want the animal to suffer use a javilin/spear like some people do.

  • @TheMHandDSfan bullets tend to fly at a higher vilocity than arrows do and thats why when you hit something in the head with a hunting rifle as upposed to a bow it tends to leave no head left which sounds pritty painless to me.. what is it going to feel with a bullet passing through it's brain at 2700fps? and im sorry, but no skill? how about wind calculations and elavation? no offence but you clearly have no idea what you're talking about, you still have to track the animal down and such also.

  • @MrRedeyedJedi a wild boar....in the head....i don't know what rifle ur using but im pretty sure you dont know what your talking about. i personlly use a shot gun with buck shot(i know stupid me) but it does not penetrate through the skull. and i said less skill not no skill, wind calculations becomes even more important with a bow. so yes in my opion MY OPION(spelled that wrong) a bow takes more skill. no offence.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrRedeyedJedi and im sorry i just have to add this. I am not totally sure if you know this(being totally secrious) but the heads connected to the spine, when the head is severed/if severed its a huge amount of pain, even if its for a secord, thats why in some states severing chicken heads is now illegal. again no offence i just want to put that out there

  • @MrRedeyedJedi fail

  • @screamit1 We eat everything we harvest. The enjoyment you see, is due to all the hard work that was put in to actualy take this pig. Ounce you finaly get one, your pretty fired up. No ojne like to kill. But we all love the barbecue after.

  • just an FYI hunting with crossbows in hawaii is illegal

  • @epademiq76 When this video was shot, cross bow hunting was legal on private property. This hunt was on private property. Thanks for the heads up.

  • @epademiq76 Guy take the hunters education course and get the facts Crossbow hunting IS Legal in Hawaii on PRIVATE land FYI>>>>

  • each to their own but i prefer rifle hunting, clean shot to the head. i imagine a bolt through your torso would be pretty grim.

  • @skdavrs He ran 30 yards and dropped dead. Arrow heads are just as deadly if placed correct. I have had pigs run 300 yards after being shot with a rifle.

  • How many pounds does that beast has???????????

  • @theleoj91 He was about 80lbs.

  • the only shit about crossbows is the animal sufer allot

  • @losteden no not really, i suspect your comparining it to a rifle? most big game animals that are shot in the heart/lung area do not die right away. they can go on for a looong time. an animal shot with an arrow in that area usually will only go less than 60m/yards

  • @losteden Actualy, with an arrow or bolt, the pig has way less stress then a rifle shot or dogs, and its way more quiet.

  • Did the bolt go through it? poof of dirt behind the boar.

  • @TomahawkTerror Yes right through, that is what that poof is, dirt in the air.

  • Thought it was a good kill man. I have been looking into buying a cross bow. I think that your video sold me on it lol.

  • @367blackwolf Thanks and good luck

  • how many pounds is the draw on it?

  • haha, i laughed when you tilt your head up, smile and say: i nailed him !

    haha, great shot man!

  • man was u using one of those deer shot bows with the spikes that stick out the side on the front on impact???

  • @MrMasta23 No I was using a slick trick broad head. They are dealy with pigs and all other big game.

  • @MyPoeticLicence Actualy your wrong. We hit him directly behind the ribs and through both lungs. He ran 30 yards and dropped dead.

  • @bgwvrdr Beautiful shot. How skittish are they? They seemed pretty jumpy.

  • @bgwvrdr ribs and both lungs...from how far did u shot?and that crossbow is really that powerfull?

  • @VampireIchiho crossbows are very powerful. they are a silent riffle

  • @VampireIchiho 20 yards or so, and very deadly

  • @bgwvrdr agree.. i saw pse tac 15 crossbow..how the black guy..izell i gues(dont remember..try to type 100 yards crossbow shot) shooting from 100 yards..really nice and accurate and powerful shots

  • @madbillt66 He ran 30 yards and dropped dead. Great tasting hog!!!

  • as soon as the boar got shot i saw the dirt get kicked up on the other side of the entry wound. would that be the bolt or the food cuz it really looks like to bolt to me...

  • @jaeser2 The bolt went right through and hit the dirt behind the hog. It ran 40 feet and dropped dead. Great smoked meat for the boyz

  • @bgwvrdr thats crazy. wish my parents approved of hunting...

  • @jaeser2 Just keep your interest intact, don't fall victim to the propaganda spewed by people who have no idea what they are talking about, and when you are old enough take up the challenge on your own. I visit to nearly any local hunting or shooting store will likely net you plenty of people willing to help you learn the ropes.

People who are against hunting...well, I feel sad for them, not angry, as they have grown up in a world that has completely lost touch with what is real.

  • @jaeser2 Bolt went right through and hit dirt.

  • Gayness wat crossbow were u using?

  • @xxReaverXXCerberusxx Barnett Rhino, great for close and tree stands.

  • use a gun its easier and more humane as its a quicker kill

  • @11JEchappers11 The pig ran 30 yards and dropped dead. Archery and Cross Bows are very humane and work just as good as a gun, but cause a lot less stress on the animal and the surounding area.

  • you mean person you would not like it if someone went and scared you and your reletives with a crossbow then shoot you with it and almost get killed go and shoot your self not animals

  • @lewisjamesadams if u dont want him to do this then y r u watching it

  • @lewisjamesadams you are retarded, why would you watch this video if that is how you feel about hunting? go fuckyourself

  • mmmmmmm, bacon!

  • @wyorednek The meat was excelent smoked and the loins were very good on the barbecue.

  • Beautiful lookin hunting grounds.

You made an great shot and that is a tasty lookin harvest.

I've never tried Wild Boar but I bet it tastes great!

    Great hunt, congrats.

    Thumbs up.

  • @anavidhunter Thank you, the hog tasted great, he only ran 30 yards and dropped dead.

  • that guy has to be tasty.
