I also was watching him with my dad during the breaking events of JFK Jr. and 9/11. I do like seeing Dan on his weekly program HDNet and every now and then on MSNBC, he seems to get along with Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews. I got to ask him what he thinks about asking tough questions at gov. officials and what advice can he provide young journalist about separating yourself from being a reporter and American. He answered with just that, you can't be afraid to ask, you can't let them intimidate you.

He truly is a gentlemen and very humble, and it was a pleasure having him at our campus tonight.
