I just started doing paintball pictures and I find that the bunkers always end up being over exposed very easily. Any tips for avoiding this? Should I just meter to them or something like the ground and try to recover the rest later on..? Help bro!
@TheFramedLife Yes but then you run into the same issue I was talking about with going Image>Adjustments. I prefer to make an adjustment layer so that I don't have to repeat my process in complex projects and have more control over my base layers.

Drew instead of using your toolbar at the top you can just select the two circle icon under your layers panel to select things like curves & levels.
