@MrPman851 the car Clarkson drove through the shopping centre was the 2010 fiesta not the 2011 both the 2010 and 2011 both have the same design. they are both great cars by using the uk , european and other markets meant ford could get the handling perfect. in the uk and Europe this car is very popular and I am learning to drive in the 6 speed auto and i like it better than the Corsa.
its common sense to use the directional pad as a joystick, thats why its designed like that

@Timsalt3100, the year doesn't matter. It's still the same vehicle. I personally like the Fiesta myself. It's a neat little car.
