So, first they take Jackpot off the album and replaced it with Tomorrow Never Knows, and then they replaced it in the making of video too? Why did they even take it off in the first place?
This is an incredible project - the IMAGINE PROJECT. and it is so appropriate that Herbie Hancok is leading this project - he has the scope of vision based on his breath of experience of living through many eras - celebrating his 70th birthday in conjunction with his project - his life experiences has brought him to this place in time to deliver a vision of a world we have only dreamed of. John Lennon wrote the song, now Herbie gives us a chance to embrace the vision of a new world once again.
¨The Imagine Project ¨, as your previous albums, helps me to remember myself that a work rests (bases) at first on the imagination, then the will to create around a theme, the work of realization which it requires, without forgetting to quote the philosophic reach (impact) of the project, which defined at the same time the motivation and the conviction of the author and the composer.
(If I was in a school of ¨critique by the Art ¨, it is the first things which would like to learn.
The video was great with the exception of showing "Africans" when Oumou Sangare sings. I think it is disrespectful to portray "scenes from Africa" instead of showing her image. Why don't you show images of Oumou Sangare along with the other singers? If you correct this error, your video will be "2 thumbs up". If you dont correct this error, the video is "1 thumb down".
I am with you Herbie! I hope someday the world will be as one, & in peace. Being at Carnegie Hall, to celebrate your 70th was a beautiful experience. Thank you for your music.
Dear Mr Hancock. I strongly disagree with your comment @4:17
You are not like the rest of us,...you are super human.
