  • @heartdoggies Aw that's great! Keep practicing! xx

  • "Ancient Greeks and Romans celebrated New Year on the winter solstice"

Pagan Roman emperor Julius Caesar first established January 1 as New Year's day in 46 b.c. in honor of one of his Pagan god Janus . Janus was the Roman pagan god of doors and gates, and had two faces, one looking forward and one back. "January" the month named after this Pagan god Janus ,rituals of getting drunk and taking part in sexual activities , was a way the pagan romans pay tribute to honor their pagan god Janus.

I really love the color palette for this Jeweled Smokey Eye look.

  • @ChicReal Thanks! x

  • you always seem very very sad in your videos..

    SMILE, life's good!

  • @lovstoned23 I'm not sad at all! I'm sick at the moment and it may have been showing through in some of these videos though.

  • This is quite lovely, I adore Blue Brown pigment.. it's nice to see it used here. :]

There actually used to be a Pro pigment called Green Brown, which is definitely the more green of the two. <3

  • where does one get those jewles that go on the face? i doubt you can use just anything, but ive never seen them anywhere.

  • @lyndsey04 they are nail jewels. get at nail supply stores, or sally's

  • @kycc89 actually their the eye jewels packet from claire's accesory store. it said it in the tutorial

  • i love it but most of ppl say that sticking jewel to eyes is old fashioned!!!!!is it true???

  • @ruthere85 Not in my opinion. 50's makeup is "old fashioned" but it's still popular!

  • Love the look and the Marilyn Monroe room divider thing where did you get it? :0) xxxJoolsxxx

  • @BarrysDaughter Thanks! I got it in Woodies DIY:) x

  • @LetzMakeup thanks hon off to find it lol :0)

  • You have a way of doing looks that seem simple and neutral at a glance, but if one allows their eyes to adjust, it becomes rich, complex, and detailed.

    I love it. :-)

  • @RoofieOnTheRocks Aww Thanks so much Hun! x

  • This is hot!

  • OMG! This is beautiful as always.

  • Lovely look! I'm loving the way you used the Blue Brown pigment, I've never really seen anyone use it to much success. Bravo!

  • it's really a perfect look for the new year's eve! thanks a lot! ;)

  • @letizzy ^_^ xx

  • @LetzMakeup I have such an awful time trying to do cat-eye liner. They never seem to be symmetrical and the angle of the line never seems flattering. Do you have any advice about how to do this, or maybe you know that some eye shapes just don't carry cat-eyes very well?

  • @Luftmenshca Most people's eyes are slightly different shapes, some are more noticeable than others. My friend for instance has two different shapes so when I do cat eye for her, following the line of one eye gives me the shape I want but for the other eye I have to pull the line up more than I would because if I follow the natural shape of her eye then it will taper down. Figure out how your eyes are shaped and make adjustments then you will make the eyes look more symmetrical at the end.

  • AMAZING!!!!

  • Gorgeous look!

I have the wet n wild night elf palette which has a shade that is a dupe for the blue brown pigment and it's such a lovely color.. but I'd no idea on a good way to wear it.. now I do :D Thx <3!

  • @Emelinda84 She's got the most amazing Irish accent that's why dear ;)

Letz... don't change those OUSH for OUT's... we love them ;)

  • @Emelinda84 What a ridiculous & typical comment from someone who can't type complete sentences.

  • @Emelinda84 It's my accent.

  • I'm totally going to wear this for New Years'. (:

  • @MimAndRosie Nice to hear! x

  • in maybellines sunlit bronze palette the crease color I believe is a dupe for the pigment you used but minus the green if any at all :)

  • @SnowBunny2022 Good to know! x

  • gorgeous look

  • @babygurl25392 Thank you:) x

  • Is there a good way to set lipstick so it doesn't come off right away?

  • @HereComesTheRooster layer first your lippie, dab with tissue then add translucent powder top of that pat it on then add another layer of lippie again :)

  • @SnowBunny2022 Aw :) thanks!!

  • @HereComesTheRooster Or you could use a primer for the lips first, and then fill in the entire lips area with a lip pencil before applying the lipstick. Use a lip brush if you want to push it into the lips a little better! x

  • Look at how perfect your eyebrows have become, they look so nice.

  • @MsVersZsatile Thank you:) It was worth the annoyance of growing them out! x

  • Lovely! And I mean your eyes as much as the look!
