Glad to see a owe new tv generation of kids watching the Sooty show with Richard Cadell, Great performer and magician as to what sooty is, I remember watching Matthew Corbett and the sooty show as a child and when i hit adulthood in the mid 1990's, i carry on watching the Sooty show, right upto when Matthew retired, Thanks to youtube i can watch all the classic sooty show including the owe new generation of the Sooty shows, i'm like big really, lol

Great to see Sooty is still around. I hope Richard a success with it and to keep it new and exciting.

As for me, i miss Matthew and as a true 90s kid, my sooty experience ended with him. Great to see him here.

Lovely seeing Matthew in it again wonder if he still wishes he was the right hand man, saying that most kids might not like him as he is 63 and getting on a bit but I being brought up by Matthew still love him and Richard is doing just as good

@93DOL well unlike his father, Matthew is quite happy retired, with the odd playing guitar in some local pubs. Like he said in the interview, he is happy with Sooty's ongoing success.

Matthew hasn't half aged, bet he still wishes he was the right hand man, who knows but nevertheless he is still happy with way Sooty is now by sounds of it. buy I expect being 63 now, kids born 1999 onwards would feel him too old for a kids presenter
