Ok guys chill. This guy is a very smart man, and clearly instead of seeing education as this impossible obstacle to over come. He manages to take such complicated manners that we encounter everyday in school, work, etc. And breaks it down to make it feel a simple task. It's a talent that not many teachers have....hats off to you!

mephatboy: THEY are not (topics and tasks) easy! Nobody has said that they're easy. The only thing you've seen is how a good essay should be structured. Now on, the quality will deppend on the quality of the writer, which can be attained through practice. I bet you can write good essays, too.

i hate how teachers misrepresent topics or tasks as easy to do when it's not

developing a good thesis is a pain in the ass but it's like 80% of writing a good paper - u make it seem like it's automatic and can be done w/ little thinking (well, with your so-called thesis, it may be true)

i am horrified by bu3antar's comment... if this piece of garbage actually helped him be a better teacher, i sure feel sorry for his students

ur thesis sucks - if there is no controversy at all to ur argument: "PE is a positive thing in any community," then it's way too obvious and doesn't need to be argued

in other words, YOUR THESIS HAS TO SAY SOMETHING -- u can't say something like, "Babies are cute" or "Michael Jordan is a great basketball player"

and none of ur "assertions" contrast public ed with other alternative, if not inferior, modes of education (which is where I thought u were going, except MAYBE the first one)
