Dear enforcerthree,

I am a self trained hypnotist and may not be the best person to ask. However, in my opinion, It is not the equilibrium that is effected. Pulling the arm forces the conscious mind to change its train of thought very quickly. Once it is in transition to change during the initial shock there is a mental laps in the critical factor allowing in a suggestion to the subconscious.

I have question on how rapid induction works. Its when you pull the arm that it throws off the equilibrium and for a split second thier subconcious is open to a command, and most people relate "sleep" to hypnosis and relaxation...is that how it works? Just wondering...

Yes. I spoke to Jessi about 1 week ago. He just told me that he has not even thought about smoking since that date.

Ah congrats to you! I used hypnosis on a friend of mine to help cure an eating disorder she had. It worked after one session. One of my proudest moments :P
