Ronaldo is a brilliant player, yet when you watch Messi you just start laughing in disbelief at the way he effortlessly glides past defenders. He is just really entertaining to watch and, let's face it, I've never seen Ronaldo whizz past 6 players including the keeper and score.

Thing is, Messi is more reliable than Ronaldo because he always gets somewhere whereas Ronaldo does loads of stepovers then most times loses it.

But in terms of reliability, Ronaldo scores in alot more games and plays alot better in the big games than i think messi does.

I can't decide who is the best in the world, there are too many things to judge it on, Ronaldo is amazing at everything and goalscoring and tricks, whereas Messi is the best dribbler in the world.

im not a fan of ronaldo but that year he did score 42 goals for manu and that season he was unstopable, his skills wer brilliant, he played brilliantly every game.

you also got to remember that every player on his team was on form. If you want to score alot of goals then i think it helps to have rooney next to you! zinedine zidan said this year, is gerrard the best football player in the world, messi and ronaldo seem to be the ones getting all the publicity, but yes i think he is!
