By destroying this farm, LA destroyed its own soul. There are no solutions to any of the problems this Globe faces that do not address the Earth and its people first. Humane Solutions must be the first solution.
Sad that this story hasn't been addressed or covered nationally.
This is a very powerful video. The music adds so much emotion. It's really unfortunate that we value profit over nourishment and concrete over nature.
man i get more and more pissed off every time i watch this the farm a couple of blocks from my pad i stay on 25th and pass it frequently and all you hot is still an epmty plot fuck horriwitz and fuck villaragosa
dude i kinda feel bad for the cops...you KNOW they DONT want to be there. Half of those cops are latino and other minority so you KNOW this isnt a race issue. I bet many of them actually feel and believe in what these farmers are doing. Thats what would suck the most, having to do detain a bunch of people you agree with.
if the police officer don't want to be there....they can always call in sick, yet they don't. they are making a decision to be there....for all I care....they can go to hell.

I didn't know South Central had farms, unless it's rural in some areas.
swishahouse2006 4 years ago
It's urban farming. People farm empty plots of land in urban environments.
