  • In this video: The impossible question.

  • What´s about Sig, Steyr & Walther?

  • I know they're safe, but decockers make me so nervous. I cringe watching that hammer fall on a live round.

  • Both the HK and Glock have the same safety, Glock you pull the trigger, HK you carry with safety off and pull the trigger. You are lying to yourself if you think a piece of plastic between a trigger is going to stop a curious kid from killing himself. External safety all the way for me Gents. Ps. Glock and the HK both look like 240 Volvos and just as reliable but I still prefer my revolvers and 1911's.

  • Yeah, exactly. Turning the safety off in a dangerous situation could cost you a precious few seconds.

  • whats that noise in the background?

  • @skoobalon My pitbulls chewing their toys

  • @humans4targets2 lol I was wondering the same thing, but that's the most Manliest answer ever! Awesome!

  • My personal two cents. 800 dollars is way too much for a polymer gun. I also like GLOCK because liberals tried to ban it so THAT makes it a thousand times better

  • HK has a more comfortable trigger.

  • Well judging by my youtube ID I guess you know where I take sides. That being said, Glocks are fine guns and they make a model 20 10mm that I own, and HK really needs to make a 10mm as well. However both Glocks I own have had issues, and all my HK's have run completely flawless.

  • @HKmanlp1 HK Mark 23 in 10mm FOR THE WIN!! lol

  • @humans4targets2

They actually did make the MP5 in 10mm. Ted Nugent has one. I was thinking more along the lines of a USP Tactical in 10mm. Splitting hairs I guess.

  • Well presented Paul. Both designs are excellent, personal preference is the only deciding factor... or like you and me, they can get and enjoy both!! LOL

  • well said, but i would recomend the Glock for new shooters due to its simplicity, i myself prefer the H&K, i feel it is a finer weapon with better craftsmanship

  • I love my HK's first. But I am starting to come around to GEN 3 Glocks. But if someone gave me a glock to carry I wouldn't be upset. But my go to guns, are all HK's.

  • BIGGEST DIFERENCE........price

  • great vid. could you do a video on Calibre 9mm vs 40 vs. 45? thanks

  • dont own one, but HK really impressed me. they got the USP 40 approved in MA. Gotta give credit to any gin maker that will submit for MA testing and support MA shooters.

  • @johniac7078 sorry gun maker....gin makers are good too though. friggin autocorrect.

  • Subbed on this video. Good stuff. Thanks.

  • NIce Vid! I am left eyed and ambidextrous I shoot better left handed so I carry left handed, I love Glocks for the same reasons you stated and dump the mag with my index finger as well. Even after I got a G21sf with ambi mag release...I still use my index finger. Subbed ya! TC as always!

  • @ahfa53 Thanks bro, I appreciate it.

  • I'm also left handed and have a G19 Gen4 and it is configured for a right handed shooter. I also release the mag the same way you do, crazy!

  • Having owned both, the HK's always felt better in my hand, and how they operate. Glocks are fine guns, but I just prefer a da/sa gun with a hammer on it. That being said, I still think HK's are pretty pricey, and Glock is definintely alot of gun for the money.

  • I couldn't agree more, great advice for the new guys; same advice that I've always given and believe in.

Although in the end I sold both of my HK's and kept the Glock's, they're just workhorse's for the money.

  • People who criticize HKs have never shot or owned. They are superior to a Glock in everyway.

  • Great vid. It's hard to beat a Glock for the money. I do intend to purchase an H&K in the near future though.

  • Well said brother.

  • I own both and I prefer to carry the Glock but I also like to carry the HK cocked and locked! I would recommend an XD for first time buyers because it has so many safety features and it's priced like a Glock!

  • The only thing that kept me hk was mag price and parts availibility. You have to order holsters for hk in my area you can grab glock holstets etc anywhere around here but i do want an hk 45 nice vid peace bro

  • I own both brands and I'm a fan of both! You know your USP can be configured for roughly 9 different variants. People that don't like HK because of external safety's can get a LEM trigger. Lighter trigger pull shorter trigger reset! Also the LEM comes light and heavy. It's always the price with HK. Glocks are in everybody's budget!!

  • This vid reminds me of that scene from Billy Madison were he's got the shampoo vs. Conditioner. Conditioner better! No! Shampoo iz betta!!! I really would love to pick up a USP 9mm compact. The local gunshop wants a grand. That's really the only thing I dislike about the hk is the price. You can buy two Glocks for the price of an HK.

  • Another Great video, my friend!

  • true that, neither the Hk or the Glock can compare with the HiPoint 9mm in value and reliability

  • @hugo2x Value = performance based on the price. A HiPoint 9mm is bulky, heavy pistol with poor ergonomics. It lacks the accessories available for both Glocks and HKs, has a major disadvantage with the small magazine capacity, as well as the company itself being less capable in terms of service repairs and availability. The 2 positives the HiPoint are its very low cost(aprox.$200) and reliability. However, a firearms is an investment, $200-$400 is a minimal amount to better safeguard your life.

  • For me Glock is better just because its cheaper

  • Nice video love them both but before buyiing any weapon I would try and take a training class that provides a weapon and then go and buy and your knowledge to judge will be great. Nice video

  • I like both, but i like the price of the Glock better

  • I like both. But i like the price of the Glock better

  • good pieces of crap..crapftsmanship... ok i got ya... i got cha bro.. dont buy both.. subliminal messages you always gotta keep looking for them in his vids..keeps it interesting..

  • I prefer the Glock but you can't beat the double single operation of the HK. Good job bro.

  • OK, yeah... but which is REALLY better?!? Just kidding brother. I don't own an HK (yet) but I like the safety/ decocker, DA/ SA feature. I'm relatively new to firearms (less than 3 years) and it took me a few months to feel comfortable carrying my G19 condition 1 in my White Hat holster. I love shooting it, though! Awesome firearm. Thanks for another good video. Happy Holidays!

  • Great video, great advice. I bought 2 Glock's strictly based on the H&K's are more money. You are absolutely right both guns are awesome, I have shot both and love both. One day I will have an H&K in my collection. FYI most of the "operators" I was in contact with while in Iraq carried Glock 19's. Glock is KISS, Keep it Simple Stupid. Very easy to work on. Thanks for sharing.

  • I'm a lefty as well and you certainly hit on a point that concerned me about right handed guns

  • Great Video my Friend!!

  • Oranges are better than apples.

  • 4'z up

  • Damn dude. Your dog is chewing the shit out of something! I can hear him him the video! lol

  • What up Paul? The new vid is great. In my opinion i love the polymer guns as well. I feel glocks and hks are also the best out there. Xdms are pretty good to. But ill definetaly stick with my Glocks first and foremost. I just love the way i shoot em. Like you said, its all about how YOU shoot a certain gun. And simplicity is also key. Later man. Jason.

  • @GorillaBrother1 Exactly and Gaston is a Genius! Glocks were made in the early eightes way before their time and now all the major gun companies are jumping on the band wagon years later.

  • i have a question. which is better, 357magnum or 45acp? pros and cons of both and which is better for say self defense. anyway great video!

  • Glock is the AK of hand gun's.

  • @Dqalex no its not, Glocks arent cheap

  • Simplicity is the key!!! Exactly that's why I like revolvers too. What I love about the Glock is my wife thinks I only have one because they all look the same!LOL!!

  • @Mr45Bullitt Hahaha! My wife also thinks I only have one Glock. I have one in every room of the house.lol

  • Glock 19

  • Ergonomics-wise HK is one big ol' brick.

  • amen brother. I'm with you.

    Thanks for some great vids.

  • @emrguns1 Thanks bro

  • For me, it came down to preferring a consistent striker fired trigger vs. a DA/SA trigger. I also prefer the Glock grip angle compared to the USP.

Now..... the classic HK P7 PSP has got a grip angle like Glock's and 5 other great things going for it!

  • In my honest opinion, it's a matter of preference. If you can prove that you can effectively use either weapon, any model Glock or H&K, itreally shouldn't matter which is "better".

  • Have you seen the torture tests some dude put a G 21 and a HK through?

The HK failed the sand and dust test as i recall

The G21 was dropped from an airplane, lol

  • Great video Paul!

  • @xAZAZELx13 Thanks A-zee-zal! lol

  • Great video. :)

  • Glock vs. HK vs. Springfield XD

  • Well done Paul.

  • @humans4targets2 i agree with you 100% sir.everyone has their own gun that they are good with.in my opinion anything with a small entrance wound would help law enforcement (meaning if you shoot someone in s.d. medics would be able to reach them in time and then law enforcement could take them into custody and there is one less threat off the street.you dont kill them and the police arrest a potential threat win win.)out a of alot.but thats my opinion and i like your standpoint on gun simplicity.

  • .22,.38calibers are good law enforcement weaponry in my opinion.small entrance/exit wounds. has enough power to kill or neutralize potential threats.and best of all the ammo is in the cheap-reasonable price range.

  • your asking the wrong guy im a beretta man myself

  • Love them both, but deep down inside I am a glock man.

  • Love them both, but deep down inside I am a glock man.

  • Love them both, but deep down inside I am a glock man.

  • I like guns! ALL guns!

  • HK's are built alot better than glocks. But the glock works just as well.

  • I own both, and in my honest opinion Glock gets the win in this debate.I've never had any type of failure with any of my glocks. My usp 45 has jammed twice. I'm also more accurate with the Glock. Tough call but I'd give Glock the nod. Its all personal preference though..Ergos are better on the hk, but I prefer the glock trigger. If customer service matters to you, go Glock as hk was snobby in my experience. Nice vid as usual h4t.-peace-

  • Great vid, I agree, keep it simple!!!!!!

  • I thought a big selling point of the HK pistols was that the trigger can be modified to many different variants, i.e. DAO, DA with decocker and safety, and DA with decocker only?

  • Good video man. I hate thumb safetys, but dont mine the grip safety tho.

  • Glock and Hk are totaly different weapons..u cant compare a Glock to HK ,its like a pinto vs rolls royce

  • @STUCKintheBUSH Wrong, both are combat pistol's, both have polymer frames, both have polygonal barrels. Just because YOU like one better does not mean the other is a pinto....

  • @humans4targets2 hk's come in at a different price range (although you didnt talk about "smoothness" or "quality")

  • @humans4targets2 Right on Paul!!!

  • @humans4targets2 Glock doesn't have a polygonal barrel, but they're both great handguns, it just depends on which fits your hand better and your overall system. In my case it's the HK USP. It just feel so solid in my hands, Glock is up in my top 10 as well but just doesn't take the cake.

  • @MC1796 Yes, Glocks do have polygonal rifling. Check out their website or go ask any gun store clerk or Glock armorer.

  • @STUCKintheBUSH I agree with the HK being the pinto and the Glock being the rolls.

Actually I do understand what he is saying in this vid. I still like the Glock better.

  • Very well said and certainly appreciated bud

  • i love hk just picked up a p30 in 9mm but i have to say i dont like the double action trigger. Its definitely not a deal breaker for me though.

  • Good video

  • Excellent vid my friend!

  • at least in the sense of a de-cocking mechanism, you can have 1 in the tube and all safeties off, just pull the trigger, and it will be safer than a glock.

  • Gonna have to say HK, the polygonal rifling is better, the gun more accurate, equally if not more reliable than glock. But the kicker, the de-cocking mechanism makes for a safer and faster on the draw carry option.

  • @SupremeAmerican Yea....Glocks have polygonal rifling too. Except for the .45 acp models, I think.

  • @metalhead2508 yeah i think glocks are the cheapest common handgun you can get with polygonal rifling, next cheapest is sig. Thing about HK tho is their polygonal rifling is ''better'', you can fire soft lead cast bullets out of it unlike a glock, and accuracy is generally better.

  • @SupremeAmerican I can fire cast bullets out of my Glock 23 all day long. You just can't dump entire magazines in a short period of time or you will get some leading. I don't see how one company's rifling is "better" when they are both use the same type of rifling. As far as "accuracy", that's just your preference. I would bet my left nut that both guns accuracy is great. You may not shoot the Glock as accurately as an HK, but that doesn't make one more accurate than the other.

  • @metalhead2508 Just stating the facts. HK has higher quality and more robust polygonal rifling. HK also provides better groups from a controlled testing environment. If this makes you angry, i am sorry, it's not my fault, just stating the facts. Don't take it out on me, take it out on glock

  • @SupremeAmerican I'm not mad. I'm just trying to clarify your comment. If you could please state sources that say HK has higher quality control and more robust polygonal rifling that would be great. After all, you DID CLAIM TO BE STATING FACTS. Right?

  • @metalhead2508 It is the facts. Like i said, consult Glock or HK, i am not the one for you to be throwing a tantrum to.

  • @SupremeAmerican You can't claim something as fact and then not provide sources to prove what you are saying. All I'm asking for is a website or a document that proves what you are saying. If you can do that, then I will gladly admit that HK is indeed a higher quality gun with better polygonal rifling and greater accuracy than a Glock. Until then, They are both on the same level in my eyes.

  • @metalhead2508 "Glock advises against using lead bullets (meaning bullets not covered by a copper jacket) in their polygonally rifled barrels. Some have made a point of the fact that neither H&K nor Kahr explicitly recommend against lead bullets in their polygonal rifled barrels, and feel that it is probable that there is an additional factor involved in Glock's warning." - Wikipedia page on "Polygonal Rifling".

  • @metalhead2508 From HK website. Features glock doesnt have. This is why there is a price difference. - "The HK45 uses HK proprietary O-ring barrel for precise barrel-to-slide lockup optimal accuracy. Barrels made using famous HK cold-hammer forging process for superior perf. HK’s unique internal mechanical recoil reduction system reduces the recoil forces imparted to the weapon and shooter by as much as 30%, improving shooter control and increasing component service life."

  • @SupremeAmerican Glock has those features as well. Recoil reducing spring, cold hammer forged barrel, their Tenifer coating blows HK's blueing out the water. HK does have Glock beat with their multiple trigger configurations. Also, Nobody is crying. I was just wondering where you got the idea that one company's rifling is better that the other. Thank you for providing sources, however, Wikipedia is not a source. It can be edited by anyone, therefor it is unreliable.

  • @metalhead2508 Not necessarily. For example. Glock, as does any brand including keltec or ruger for example, has a spring, on a non fixed-barrel model. That spring is standard, as is the non-fixed design. HK goes above and beyond on that. Hence the price. To provide recoil reduction and accuracy increases. The manufacturing process of the cold hammer forged glock design is very production and standardized in it's ways, it is not specialized upon for firearms of particular calibers

  • @metalhead2508 HK beats glock not only in trigger configurations, but in action configurations, fit and discipline of the cold forged hammer barrels to the model and caliber, and HK's bluing is in fact superior and bypasses the glock pattented tennifer coating in many aspects, mainly by depth and insulation to the metal. Both are actually manufactured in Germany by very close production plants. HK is t he step up, for the connissuer. Glock is the step down, for the budget.

  • @metalhead2508 And yes. You are angry. You are mad. And you are extremely challenged at this moment. I just want you to understand a few things. A- The world doesnt revolve around you. B- your antique revolver being the only handgun on your channel, could not kill a c hipmunk point blank, and C - your penis is very tiny. I understand this may make you angry and frustrated. But i am here for you. We can get through this together.

  • @metalhead2508 The decocking mechanism also allows a statistically more efficient means of carry, while simultaneously reducing the rate of accidental discharges.

  • @metalhead2508 I know this is hard to digest for you. And i know it will cause you to throw a tempertantrum. But before you throw one. Let me remind you. Glocks are 500 bucks. HK are substantially more. So all that's being inferred here is that for a 500 dollar pistol, the glock is as good as it gets. Just not as good as a much more expensive HK pistol. Direct your crying elsewhere, i do not care.

  • @metalhead2508 A more reasonable comparison would be a sig and a glock, as they are closer in quality and price. But yet again, the sig would come out on top, with yet again, a slightly higher price tag.

  • @saad199551 he is very high

  • I sold my Glock 23 to buy a USP. Then I got a Glock 27...now I'm selling the USP to get a Glock 22. HK is sweet, just going for "platform uniformity."

  • best answer ever

  • Perfect way to answer that question! Good vid

  • No matter to me. I hold my guns sideways when I shoot and I don't care what I hit.

  • It would be best to try both. I held a new glock loved it but when I went to shoot it I couldn't stand the staple gun feel of the trigger I really wanted to like it but just couldn't "/

  • BOTH!

  • The best gun is the one that fits YOU the best. I'm a Glock man but it FITS me, you however may disagree and that is what is great about these top quality manufacterers. Great video!

  • HOT-POINT

  • Glock hands down!!!

  • I'll take the Glock over any other brand of semiauto pistol period!!!!

  • What about the H&K USP compact I love the glocks but have been wanting a USP compact for awhile now. I own a G22 and carry it all the time and I am thinking about getting the USP Compact in 40 cal. I work as a reserve police officer from time to time and the majority of my fellow officers have switched to the H&K. I have shot both of them and have qualified for my department with both handguns. Any thoughts you could share would be great full.

  • H4T can't bash glocks bc he knows they have a near flawless and purpose build design. and H4T can't bash HK's cuz they're his favorite but also very purpose built by the germans. i wish he had compared the trigger pulls though or at least shown us how much he loves both brands by showing us his collection of both glocks and HKs, which 'we' all know are pretty impressive

  • @paikmendez Did not even think of it, I could have went on for a bit about the triggers, always happens when I do a video forget something lol.

  • Great topic & a tough call to make. For me, it all comes down to ergonomics. The HKs across the board feel better in my hands, plus being a Southpaw, their ambi features are a must have. I also own Glock gen 3s & a gen 4. The ambi features on the gen 4 are nice & the choice in grip widths helps, too, but even when optimized, the gen 4 is still behind the HK in ergos for ME. Now, for EDC purposes, I have a different criteria, but that's a different video to comment on...

  • Good vid Paul... Comes down to preference and how deep your pockets are.

  • Great answer!!

  • Great vid

  • is 105$ too much for a surplus mosin nagant?

  • @krich451 nope thats a normal price and thats actually cheaper than what i find here. usually its 115 here.

  • @Grunt922 yeah it sounded cheap but i was just making sure

  • @krich451 Not at all. Check the bore and make sure it's not pitted, if not... buy it!

  • this would be true a few yrs ago but with the introduction of gen4's,Glocks are no longer any more or less reliable then any other major gun manufacturer..

  • Glock has no safety...

  • It comes down to how much money you have

  • Great vid, great advice!

  • could you do a video on paneling? which is best for my bedroom? basement?

  • @The1911Channel I think you should go all out and panel every room in your house. Even the bathroom.

  • @papamoose71 LOL...MY PARENTS HOUSE IS LIKE THAT!!!

  • @The1911Channel peg board paneling would be cool! everything you need could be on the wall and ready

  • these are 2 completely different pistols

  • I am all trained up with a glock and I love the barebones, pull and shoot combat style. However I do love shooting my friends HK collection I think he has 5 or six and everyone is a sweet shooter. With that said I do not think I could drop the coin on a new HK. I may someday find a nice used one but new the price is a bit much.

  • I'm more of a striker fired gun guy myself for defense. Less steps to action like you said just my preference. However, the HK is sexier and feels better in hand. Lefty here as well and use index finger for mag release too. Don't mess with habit right lol. thanks for sharing.

  • @MrCleanerNash Oh cool you do that too, it is just better to me to learn to use the gun even though it is set up right handed.

  • i own glock 23 and xd essential service 4 .40 calibur like them both

  • Great vid bro. Love the HK. Still need to get a Glock.

  • If the hk was 500 dollars that's the one that I would pick but since it is not, I would go with the Glock.

  • @Gewehr7 You can get a used usp for around 500...how do i know cause thats what i paid for mine.

  • @quazy50158 O wow your local gun shops are better than mine lol. Their prices are crazy. You'd never get a deal like that at my local place.

  • @Gewehr7 its probably all beat up and looks like shit

  • For anyone who cares; I also own both I carry a G17 as my duty weapon daily I carry a G19 off duty but I also have a HK USP with the LEM variant trigger which if you can get it is unbelievable. I'm with H4T on this one, both have positives and negatives both are also time tested proven weapons. I wouldn't hesitate to carry either one daily for work or off duty. The one bonus I give the Glock are the ease of detail stripping and being able to be worked on.

  • Own both (21 & USP45). I agree, really preference. Both are good and have been torture-tested similar and used by professionals.H&K has more engineering and quality (IMO); for example, the barrel inside is "micro-grooved" which some claim superior. Both feel and shoot similar to me. Besides a larger magazine, one thing I like about Glock is that they had smarts to make mags compatible between models while H&K do not; you can use the 13 rd. Glock Mod 21 mags (sticking out) in a smaller Glock 30.

  • @ThePrivateMan some goddamn junkies ambushed your family. one came from behind and the other is raising his machete against your wife. what's in your holster?

  • I bought my Rock River Arms M4 based on the DEA selecting this rifle, but I was lucky, there wasn't many black rifles around in 2004. Now I look to personal recomendations, mostly on YT and the firearms community, but, not totally. Not totally, because we all know guys will make a video about what ever is in their hands, and when they trade it, they'll bad rap the previous subject. It's better than nothing, and when we get honesty, we have one more source to match the specs with the features.

  • Comment removed

  • Most major handguns these days are equal. The new 9mm Walther, Glock, Springfield XD, Sig, HK, Ruger SR, S&W M&P, and many others are equal in effectivness. I personaly prefer the Glocks for compatability with all my other gear, and I like the mags. Though I have gone with the Glock (not to say I do not own many others) I prefer the feel of the M&P. I am asked all the time which is best, and the answer is that they are all different but equal.

  • Glock perfection

  • Hey, no sunglasses.

  • Fair & Balanced Review , next thing you know you be with Fox news :))) Great Video !

  • @krazy45cat lol I would like Jade and Goro on the news....

  • your answer is a pretty good answer. i dont understand how people can say which is better. its always been a personal preference

  • Good info, I prefer the Glock, its a combat ready pistol !

  • This is a joke, right??!! H&K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The quality is much better, you can clearly see it in the polymer frame...

  • i'd choose a glock over hk. cheaper and lighter. i couldn't ever get to like the looks of the hk. just an opinion

  • its like Jade vs Goro gotta have em both :)

  • @kaihoosi1 haha but Jade always thinks she wins!

  • Glock vs. H&K? Winner: Walther. xD

  • Gen 4 glocks are crap!

  • @backdraft216 how many gen4 have you owned?

  • @kaihoosi1 2, my personal 19 which was sold, and currently a 17 as my duty weapon

  • @backdraft216 ok. i cant say anything cause i havent owned a gen4. nice zombie gun you have :)

  • I never tried shooting a USP, but it didn't feel right in my hands.
