My family kept the Christmas tree up until I came back home one year (didn't make it back until May... luckily it was an artificial tree), it was quite a pleasant and comical surprise... still had gifts under it too. Merry Christmas Marines and your families... God Bless, Semper Fi.

People too easily take for granted their time with family over the holidays, and it's truly sad. If only they knew what it was like to have an empty chair during Christmas dinner. This is my husband, and we are so humbly greatful that so many appreciate his music. He wrote this for me while deployed to Iraq. It was my present that year. Even now it makes me cry and it's great to see his face. Thank you so much for all the kind compliments. They mean the world to us. That look in your eyes in the intro when you sing "and I'm gone again, I left you alone again" is that feeling shared by all of us Marines. Without putting it into lyrics you see that "I'm sorry, but I have to be here" look, whether it's for you, your Marines, your country, your family, for whatever. Anyways, thanks for the video. This is my husband, and we are so humbly greatful that so many appreciate his music. He wrote this for me while deployed to Iraq. It was my present that year. Even now it makes me cry and it's great to see his face. Thank you so much for all the kind compliments. They mean the world to us. I've told him for years he needs to find a way to get his music out there (as well as friends telling him). This is the best Christmas gift hem could ever get, thank you again! And I do know i'm lucky!

It was fought for oil. Iraq=Stop the building of weapons of mass destruction. Nothing found. All wars based on lies and deceit and greed. Afganastan, well more and more people are starting to ask questions now on what really happened that day. And most people around the world now believe something different.
