  • Thanks for a great video! :) I have a pretty similar routine to you (although my hair is just slightly less curly) but it was great to get extra tips! I've found that moroccan oil has been really great for controlling frizz and it doesn't make it oily at all :p (although I'm sure you've heard that many times!) xx

  • can you make a tutorial showing how you twist your hair? :)

  • i do the same thing to my hair with the twisting!!! love your hair routine, check out my curly hair vid!!

  • Your hair is lovely. =)

  • Pantene shampoo is actually extremely bad for your hair. It contains the same ingredients as most detergents and it uses wax to make your hair 'shine'. It actually strips your hair of its natural oils and makes it brittle. I have curly hair like yours, and I used that same stuff last year. after 2 weeks, the build up of wax made my hair dull, greasy and it started to fall out. It wouldn't go away for weeks until I found the Neutrogena Anti-Residue shampoo. Trust me, don't go down that road.

  • One thing- you can use a cotton t-shirt to dry your hair.

Also, you're sooo super lucky you have curly hair, really. I just had frizzy hair. But I got a straightening treatment so it's SOO much less frizzy. I think I'll cry for a month if you straighten your hair.

  • Hi, whats the name of your hair color? like it alot!

  • INSTEAD of papper you can use an old Tshirt and that works really well

  • I love your hair I wish my hair was as curly as yours!!!

  • You say etc. a lot.

  • omg you should try and use 100% pure organic argan oil for your hair :), like apply it to wet hair (i apply it to my ends and underneath my hair cuz it's the dryest there) and it prevents split ends and dryness :) anddd your hair dries quicker. and i also heard that sulfate free shampoos are really good for your hair as they won't dry out your hair... :) <3 my hair is like yorus btw ahaha

  • okay so first, i stopped using the Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner. I am now using Schwarzkopf Gliss Satin Curls shampoo and conditioner. It is SO much better and it smells AMAZING! Also, i tried two of the tips on that video: i now rinse my hair with cold water after shower and dry it with paper towels. I am telling you the difference is HUGE! i really didn't think it would work but i thought i have nothing to lose and now i am super happy. I almost always let it air dry. thank you!!!

  • you are the first you tube guru that has curly hair and embraces it :)

  • using a roll of paper towels every day to dry your hair is not very environmentally friendly :/

  • ur beautiful girl<3

  • Somebody please help me, i have naturally curly hair but its not like most peoples even when i go to hair places they say my hairs crazy, its SO curly the curls are really tiny and frizzy is there anything i can do to make the cusl bigger like hers?

    Please help..

  • @KattVamp I have really tight curls too, and I find that the best way to do my hair is to flip your hair over right after a shower before you even get out and scrunch in leave-in conditioner (or regular conditioner) then I wrap it in a microfiber towel I bought at the dollar store. That's it...I used to use tons of product and then went to a "curly hair salon" and they taught me this routine. My hair has never looked healthier or less frizzy or "bouncier" then with this method.

  • Ever try the curly girl method?

  • I have the same exact hair as you! and i have that shampoo, but i DO NOT use it anymore! the reason it dries out our hair is because it has sulfates in it which strip the hair of natural oils. i use wen now and it is sulfate free and my hair is sooo much better(:

  • I agree with the iffiness of the pantene shampoo/conditioner for curly hair. It just never did anything for me. I love using the suave coconut conditioner because it has no silicone and it really moisturizes my hair, and doesnt leave any residue :)

  • I use the cold water trick too even though my hair is pinstraight. If i dont, its frizzy

  • Pantene shampoo has sulfate in it and its REALLY bad for your hair!

  • Instead of using paper towels try using a big cotton t-shirt to dry ur hair

  • Our hair is exactly the same!!!! I use herbal essences hair mousse - best thing ever! It takes away sooo much frizz and fly sways it's the best! It doesn't make your hair hard either!

  • OMG!

my hair is actually just like yours <3

but yours is even more beautiful <3

  • The Chi Keratine treatment is a STRENGTHENING treatment, not a STRAIGHTENING treatment... right? I have the same product and no where on it does it say straightening..

  • you say that hair isn't alive, then what are "dead ends" ??

  • Pantene is awful for the hair!

  • about how long is your hair?

  • I am IN LOVE with your hair! I so wish I had curly hair!xx

  • Can you o an actual tut?

  • you look so pretty in this video:)

  • can you do a video of how you do your hair wavy? or do you already have a video of that? Thanks!

  • I tried a sample of pantene colour shampoo, conditioner and masque was really good!

  • Try using an old t-shirt instead of wasting the paper towels. It does wonders for drying my curls without adding the frizz.

  • Love these videos, such great advice and so informative! Totally tried the twisted bun idea, worked like a charm, all I have to do is put a little bit of product in and walk out the door and I've got nice-non frizzy, volume curls. So simple and easy, wonder why I've never tried it before. Thank you!

  • Hey girly!Love your vids and I think your very genuine and care about your viewers.I wanted to let u know that I used to let my hair dry in a damp twisted bun over night all the time(my hair is a bit curlier than yours)and was warned by my endocrinologist and three different hairstylists that its really bad and should be avoided at all costs. Its apparently bad for the ovaries. The hairstylists said that it eventually rots the hair and weakens it no matter how u treat it.Thumbs up so she can c!<3

  • @yankeegrl21 How can a certain hairstyle be bad for the ovaries??

  • @thumbelina258 No not the actual hairstyle sleeping in wet hair. I mean once in a while its not bad but if its done too often I've been told it rots the hair follicle and the damp scalp is bad for ur ovaries. I'm not an endocrinologist and I don't remember why but I thought it'd b useful information to share:)

  • could you do a video or review of your favorite ways tips or products to de-frizz hair? :)

  • you remind me of Taylor Swift ALOT!!!:)

  • My hair is JUST like yours although sometimes a bit more ringlety but mostly pretty much that same :D

  • Love your hair..your make up really looks better today..you look very natural!!

  • yes review!

  • and if you wash your hair with freezin cold water your hair doesnt get oily that fast :D

  • Pantien (unsure of spelling) is NOT good for your hair, it adds something to your hair. Paul Mitchell is all natural, I highly recommend it

  • I LOVE your hair... i am SOOOO jealous!!!! I have straight hair... and have tried to get a perm before, but it wont set in my hair.... i LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair

  • You should really try the One n' Only Argan Oil Shampoo/ Conditioner/ and Serum!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!! PLLZZ<3 You can get it at Sally Hansen! I wanna see what it does for your hair cuz it works awesomely!! (: i loove your videos~!

  • Could you pretty please do a review on the Bumble and Bumble stuff you had in this video? And something you use for a DEEP conditioning

  • review please(:

  • I used to have extremely curly hair.... As curly or even curlier that yours but now my hair is straight! (80% straight) and i hate it /:

  • Pantene is horrible! For curly hair especially! You should visit naturallycurly . com. Research "clurly girl method". People with our hair shouldnt use sulfates or silicones (for the most part). Check it out.

  • Your grammar is horrific

But I get what your talking about, thanks!

  • @froggimaya Haha, I see a grammar mistake in your comment about her grammar. ;D

  • @froggimaya Says the person who used the wrong "your"... ;)

  • You're adorable!

  • How bout damaged curly hair?

  • I don't have acne, or curly hair, or have a clue about make-up in general... but I still find loads of useful info in your vids! Thank you for all you do!!!

  • You would love It's A 10! leave in conditioner with keratin

  • i love your curls!! but I think you misread the CHI label. it's a STRENGTHENING treatment, not a straightening treatment. but if you find that for some reason it straightens your hair then keep using it how your using it

  • can you show us how you straighten your hair? like if you want to see this too!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hiyaaa:) i have almost the same hair as you but you should just give these tips a try because they make my hair look amazing! I scrunch dry it with an old cotton tshirt to prevent frizz and then once it's 40% dry i put my blow dryer on cool air/low speed, jold is over my head pointed down & scrunch gently. It honestly eliminates all frizz & makes my curls shiny and bouncy. You should check out thr bumble & bumble curl concious line, it's awesomee

  • Girlie, ditch the Pantene for sulfate-free shampoo or use a cheap conditioner (like suave) as a shampoo. Sulfates strip your hair of natural oils. Also, make sure none of your styling products contain and silicones (anything ending in "cone"). Silicones put a nice shiney coating on your hair, but they also keep the conditioners and moisturizers out of your hair which will actually dry out your hair over time. Then you'll have to use a harsh sulfate-containing shampoo to get the silicone out!

  • You look a bit like Regina Spektor. Gorgeous!

  • Your natural curly hair is so gorgeous! Mine looks like a lions mane LOL

  • I've been using Pantene forever and i like it lol :p

  • you seem so calm in this video :( i like you normally crazy :P xx

  • you sould noooot wash your hair in really hot water, it should almost be like lukewarm, cause the really hot water takes out the natural oils from your hair and makes your hair more dry.

  • Girly....I have THE curliest hair ever! Mine is long as well. Mine takes at least 8-10hrs to totally air dry! I get my ends cut regularly because with curly hair, ends tend to be very brittle and dry...I use a keratin shampoo/condition from Sallys in the shower (don't use anything with sulfates hun!) and I put Moroccan Oil from root to tips. I will occasionally spray a leave in conditioner but Moroccan Oil saved my hair! It structures my curls, moisturizes them and leaves my hair bouncy and soft!

  • @JustJoriale I agree about the Moroccan Oil! Even with straight and smooth hair, the underneath of my hair (near the nape of my neck) was always frizzy from putting it up in a ponytail -- Moroccan Oil has been helping a lot!

  • Is this your natural color?

  • Please please ditch the Pantene crap, and buy your hair products from LUSH. Not only is it all-natural and smells amazing, it works wonders! I have dry, curly/wavey, frizzy hair and I have been noticing less problems in my hair, just because the LUSH products have worked so well! :)

  • Where can I get the curl shaper thingy ? Pls respond (: i really wanna try it cause my hair is curly and frizzy too. :/

  • I just realized in your video you have the chi spray! I use that too and it works wonders!! I also use chi oils stuff in my hair when it is wet and this works too at making my hair soft.

  • thanks for the tips i also have curly hair but twist mine in order to have the more wavy look...i have my battles fighting frizz so again thank you for the tips. I have a question is there anyway possible you could do a product review of physicians formula makeup from the drug store. I am currently using it and like the coverage however would love some tips on how to apply it in order to cover scars better as well as what you think about the product itself.

  • Thank you for making this video!! My hair is very curly! My hair looks like yours, but my culrs are bigger than yours. I love my hair and get many compliments on it, but curly hair is such a hassle to manage. My hair often gets very tangled when I sleep and I use a whole bottle of conditioner in no time. My hair is not frizzy though so I can wash my hair put leave in conditioner and go! I love this about my hair, but like I said after sleeping on it it doesn't look right anymore.

  • Nice to see some curly hair love! My hair is even curlier than yours and I adore it- the routine can actually be more simple and easy than for straight hair since I just use a thick conditioner and a clear style gel...that's it! Haha, I swear my hair is 10x better than it ever was when I used shampoo, hair spray, cream, etc. Definitely recommend "Curly Girl" books for anyone with curly/wavy hair, it did wonders for me!

  • I like this hair better! <3 and you look amazing with light eyeshadow and just a bit of makeup :)

  • I had the same problem with the Pantene Pro V (curly style). I would honestly not recommend it to anyone with curly hair. After 3 weeks of using it my curls were no longer defined it was just all fuzz (lions main).

  • Hi! Have you ever tried using coconut oil on your hair? There's a cool hair mask you can make using coconut oil and an egg :D There's tutorials with specific instructions on youtube if you wanna check it out :) And if you don't already have coconut oil, you can buy it online at iherb.com, and if you use the code KOY923 at checkout, you can get $5.00 off your purchase! I thought this was pretty cool and just thought I'd share it with you and whoever else reads this comment :)

  • You look gorgeous in this vid honey :) ♥

  • ur makeup looks waaaaay better this way! <3 ya!

  • You should try drying your hair with a t-shirt. Towels make my hair more frizzy too, so sometimes I just take a regular old t-shirt to absorb the some of the moisture before I let it air dry.

  • @GAshorty726 I do the same thing. It's a great way to re-purpose old t-shirts.

  • You say you dry ur hair with paper towels? Do you lay them out to dry when ur done with them so you can reuse them next time? That would be expensive for your Mom--buying all those rolls of paper towels just to dry ur hair with them.

  • Have you ever hear of the Curly Girl Routine? I've been do it for some time now and it works wonders! I've also used re-coil curl cream along with the curl keeper gel one and off with the Devachan products (super amazing curl products made by the woman who founded "curly girl"). But I'd look into it, because I think it'd give that last push for your hair!

  • @Unforgivendecay I completely agree aout the Curly Girl book and routine. I used to not be able to wear my hair down because it was so frizzy and now my curls are moisturized, defined and I get strangers complimenting it all the time. Definitely recommend to anyone with curly/wavy hair. I love that it's cheap, too!

  • i love you're curly hair. i have the sammeeee hair!

  • If you want to have straight hair occasionally your should try the John Freda 3 day straight, its amazing my friend has really curly hair and when she wants a change she uses it and she raves about it. Your hair is amazing btw, im jelous! lol x

  • Your hair is super pretty! ;D Also i was just curious but how often do you use heat on your hair?

  • REALLLLy luv ur hair N it's normal !! waaw ..

  • Could you do makeup designed for brown eyes? you have the other eye colors and I want to know a natural looking way to make brown eyes pop. (Also, I have straight hair and I liked Garnier Pure Clean and especially L'oreal Everstrong Sulfate Free which is the green bottle. They might work well with curly hair too!) <3 your channel, your my makeup goddess!

  • I really dont like pantene. They add a shine and wax to there shamp and cond to make your hair look cleaner for longer time. But its not good for ur hair. Even some hairdresser, can tell you they cant do it because of pantene!(i know my sister is a hairdresser and seen bad outcomes because of Pantene! And your suppose to switch brand ever 3 month. Its better for your hair.

In my case i LOVE GOT2BE products! The curly products they have work amazingly! I would love to see a review!

  • Do u know that some shampoos cause acne and skin irritation Cassandra?

    What do u think?

  • Not Pantene. No. There're many other better brands out there.

  • i love to watch u while i eat dont know why :D

  • @susieq242 lol apple cider vinegar does stink indeed :) but then again when u dilute it, the smell becomes less stinkier and by the way you can always shampoo your hair again after using it as the smell won't stick to ur hair even if don't try to rinse it. I honestly prefer natural solutions on any chemical products.

  • I did not know that about the cold water. Will definitely try it next time.

  • Hey Cass, where is your acne story video?! I would love to see it but every link I click is GONE :(

  • @lovebug940 try washing ur hair every now and then with 2-5 tbs of apple cider vinegar diluted in a litter of water . It will really make ur hair shine!!

  • @TheWhitelily2010 That sound like it would really make your hair stink?

  • I used to use pantene and it made my hair so dry and straw like! Now I use dove, it works better for me, leaves my hair soft and with alot of volume. and even shiny !

  • i i i love it

  • I have just one hing to say: please don't forget us when you'll be famous, okay? (You're really beautiful inside and outside and helped most of us to be self confident and feel prettier, healthier, etc, etc...) kisses :* =^.^=

  • I heard Pantene shampoo is really bad for your hair because of all the chemicals that's in there but I don't know if that's true

  • Beautifull room:)

  • I loved this video! :) thank you! I have straight hair and I just wanted to know if anyone knew of any products that help make your hair shiny and smooth. I tried looking for a few products but nothing has shown me amazing results yet! Thanks in advance!

  • @lovebug940 Professional by Nature's therapy Silk Works Smooth Silky Shiny hair usually works for me, and it smells good too.

  • uhhhmmm..."/

so i watched 1 of your videos i while ago,i cant really pinpoint which 1 it was bc it was when i was watching like a bunch of urs; but you had mentioned i think it was a pudding or something bc you were saying how with the modeling and the styling of your hair kinda damged it, that using that product made ur curls come back. my curls are retarded now bc of how often i use to straighten my hair, and i'm really interested in getting my curls back x[ help???

  • Please do a review on the keratin treatment

  • Can you please do a review on YES TO products (shampoo and everything else)? I love their lip butter but have been wanting to try more of their products. I really like and trust your reviews thanks :)

  • One of my teacher's girlfriends is a hair stylist and one day our teacher gave us an entire speech about Pantene and how it's only a few ingrediants away from being the equivalent to floor wax. Long story short, I dont't use Pantene xD

  • You should really try John Freda's Root Awakening line. It's AMAZING. I have sorta dry hair and I dye it red every month and I started using it a week ago and my hair is already so soft. They only time it would be soft was when I straighten it. Now it's always soft and shiny, even when I leave it curly. Even if you don't have dry unhealthy hair. TRY IT. It's just iuwghvbkjw

  • your hair looks so much cooler when you let it go big and curly! pretty!

  • What happened to Talkin Tuesday? Was so looking forward to it!

  • I had the same issue with the pantene curly shampoo and conditioner. I use a super moisturizing shampoo and conditioner then go in with Garnier Fructis sleek and shine anti-humidity smoothing milk. Works great for my curls!!

  • Go back to Paul Mitchell...Pantene is a hot mess. Your hair ends will be dry as straw in a few weeks and brittle as heck..mark my words. Try Tresemme Naturals..a lot of curly girls love that product line.

  • thanks for doing this video!! i have long curly hair and i am always looking now products to try out!!!

  • I use the keratin mist from chi and its not a straitening mist its a Strengthening Treatment... not for straight but strength.

  • i have super curly hair like you do and i use garnier furties (however its spelled) products and it works SOO well! i love it! i have the problem sometime with some sections of my hair being curly and some strains will be straight, and the condition (which i use with my normal shampoo and normal conditioner) fixes it! if u havent tryed it you should! u can get it at wal mart for like super cheap. and ulta is having a sale on it now!

  • You should use the Quidad products they are a little expensive but are awesome for curly haired girls such as ourselves.

Love the curls by the way

  • using an old tshirt also helps :)

  • bio-lodge(pronounced)

    not bio lace!

    ahahh c:

  • Pantene also tests on animals. That's why I use Paul Mitchell.

  • Hi, Cass! Do you use a Deep Cleansing shampoo like once a week?? I heard that it's important to use smth like that to get rid of all the product build up. I was wondering what you think of this and if it's really necessary/beneficial to the hair? =) xo

  • as a person with curly hair, i can never get it very long. when down, it reaches my boobie. (not to be rude or inappropiate, just giving a legnth that you can kidna picture.) how do you get yours so long?! ive been trying for years but i just cant get it to go any longer!

  • @leanny1977 thank you soooo much =)

  • @hiphoplove use nioxin for thin and fallen out hair. and great tutorial once again @diamond and heels!!

  • ive seen bumble n bumble at target

  • They dry my hair out so much!

  • Oh yeah, I forgot, I'm like you and Idk about you I LOVE my curly hair. and I love to wear it natural and get compliments on its natural ringlets. So I just wanted to know if you are in love with you curl because I'm so glad my hair is curly compared to straight. :D

  • i have curly hair and i use the pantene conditioner. i like it but i dont suggest using it on the scalp;)

  • @girlzrock44 i had the same issue and my hair was all the way down my back to my bum. ( i have a long torso so thus is even longer than you can imagine) i went to the salon and got it cut to my jaw. i dont recommend that unless you wouhld be willing to do that. just get it trimmed a few inches, stop straightening it, and most of all deep condition it every other day. (youhr haijr needs more moisture cuz of the straightening)

  • i have really curly hair and about a month ago it was really thick b ut as of right now it has started thinning and falling out a lot and i know its not age because im only 13. Is there anything you recommend to prevent fallout and to make my hair thick again? anyone is welcome tok answer. thanks

  • @Hiphopluv101 How is your diet? Loosing hair is hormonal, which is affected by your diet. If you don't eat properly, you can't sustain health, and that's when you start having problems with skin and hair.

  • YAY for people with curly hair!...I think the Pantene weighs down my curls and I get a lot of frizz. My fav is biolage. Curly hair needs extra conditioning girl! Make sure you put some extra protection in after the shower. :)

  • Hey, love your hair <33 My hair use to be like yours, but I think I started straightening it to much and my curls went away, now it's totally straight... What should I do? I want them back

  • Pantene, tresemme & garnier fructis damage the hair they break it... Use dove!

  • try using Dove. it's a million times better than pantene.

  • PATEEENEEE REVIEWWWW PLEASEEE :))

  • linda ><

  • Can I ask what on earth happened to your Megan Fox makeup tutorial! it totally disappeared off of YouTube, did you take it down! I actually liked it, and your contouring was the bomb - awesome.

  • @Counterbrilliance hi sweetie! it hapens to every video :) I uload daily but dont want to tick people off, so I unlist the video for the next few days and then republic it :)

  • @DiamondsAndHeels14 Oh okay, just noticed the link up in the description box. I had hoped it wasn't because of negative comments ( I noticed the odd one or two and they were particularly mean) if I were you I'd just delete the more ''offensive'' comments and block them from commenting on your video - that's the best medicine lol.

  • Oh also u can do what they call a pineapple ponytail at nt to help ur curls stay under control..this is a must for me :)

  • You have incredibly beautiful naturally curly hair. Mine is curly but the crown is flat and the curls are not as well behaved as yours. I'd love your hair.

  • Coconut oil is a great overnt conditioner! Also u should read up on plopping! It forms ur curls after u dry them with a paper towel or microfiber towel..natural curly hair website is such a great source for us curly girls! I have big curly hair but I have learned to embrace it! Also u must must use a leave in conditioner!

  • A hairdresser once told my sister pantene makes your hair fall out... She had noticed her hair thinning and asked about it. Now I'm afraid to use it... just something to look out for!

  • @lanetteee You're kidding right! When I was sixteen my hair started randomly falling out in a very noticeable manner when I was using Pantene pro-V (whatever) I even went to a dermatologist to see if I had Alopecia Areata but they could never find a particular cause, I think I stopped using Pantene a few years later and never did I have a problem with hair loss again. At the time I never made the connection that maybe it had something to do with the shampoo! that's unbelievable lol.

  • @Counterbrilliance Yeah maybe! I know I thought it was so crazy too o.o

  • actually i notice your hair is frizzier when you have tied it up the night before than when you let it air dry. When you sleep on it tied up...moving around on the pillow rubs hairs out of the bun and causes them to separate from the curls or waves that you are wanting to create which causes the hair to look frizzier. I have pretty frizzy hair myself and I can't sleep on it in a bun; it is either down or I dry it before.

  • Your hair looks absolutely beautiful in this video! keep it in its natural state it looks so much better and sets you apart from the sea of flat-ironed flat haired girls on YouTube. Your curls ''really'' suit you!

  • @JhinBr1 are you sure about that? it takes a while for mold to form, and 1 hour of wetness will not cut it.

  • Love the curls. I am one who loves them now (not always the case) and don't straighten my hair as often as i used to. Like the paper towel trick ( i don't use terry cloth on my hair either) but instead of using paper towels and wasting them, I use an old tshirt, not sure why but it works and keeps most of the frizz in my hair at bay. and its easy enough to get.

  • @PrettynPink415 Yeay! lol embrace yourself darlin! :) WOW< tshirt sounds so smart! is it as absorbant as paper towels? thats great, thank you for sharing!

  • Curly by Panteen makes my naturally curly hair SO dry and frizzy. My favorite shampoo right now is Garnier Fructis PURE Clean...Give it a try!

  • @bfriedman636 sounds good! i love their sirums :)

  • @JhinBr1 how??

  • loreal vive pro is amazing!

  • I am a stylist and I tell my clients not to use Pantene because it contains so much wax and because it really dries the hair out. Plus over time that wax can build up on your scalp and cause irritations, or on your hair and make it almost impossible to get any volume or body.

  • @Patches651 My stylist said the same thing. No one believes me! My stylist said that Pantene is basically vegetable oil & that's what gives the hair the "shine" but it actually just coats it & will kill it. I did an experiment with some Pantene soothing balm and left it in a drawer for a few months & went back to look at it and over half of it was pure oil on top....gross!! I have it to my stylist as a gag gift so she could actually show people. Pantene is awful!

  • I think your natural curls are really beautiful.

  • your hair is so nice and curlyy! :)

  • @JhinBr1 omg really?? how??
