Hi, and thanks for the kind words. Google The Gilded Leaf: Fine Bookbinding for our website. We are, of course, happy to take in projects via the mail but hope you'll be able to visit the shop!
We're in Eastern Tennessee, in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. We've added a blog with more pictures (haven't figured out how to edit the website) at (I'll have to spell it out because I don't think YouTube allows me to link a website) the 3 Dubya thing, gildedleafbindery.blogspot with a dot com afterward.
@noshinchan Hello I have a 1910 bible its a thompso marginal chain reference...the pages are in great shape, the leather covers have come detached from spine, some pieces have broke of from the cover being leather dread out. it hasnt been used from what i could see as a personal bible...just put on shelf. the page marker ribbon has all but got , but exsist between bible pages...how do I get in touch? Im here in Etowah, Tn. Thanks!
Do you even know... that if the Germans had won WWII, you would most probably have been part of the 1st Class SS (Elite of the Elite).
You are what they called "Teutonische" = Blond from the hair roots. Thats even above being "Aryan". AND you have picked up an old trade, wich the National Socialists loved. They where verry conservative, and they had worshipped you.
(No im not a nazi, i just love European History).
Hi. I get materials in from all over. Nothing in Tennessee, though I occasionally visit the art supply shops to look. Let me know what you're after and I may be able to suggest a source.
can you please make a demonstration about cracked hinges and joints? thanks
