My point was that a pick can be used for dynamics (which is why Squire uses one) or speed, not as a cop-out. There's much more to bass playing than some kid on youtube's preconceptions on how a bassist 'should' play, and I fail to see how you're qualified to judge who is and is not a 'real musician'
