Internet vs. TV: Which do you prefer

Internet is much better, but for videos TV always wins. Internet video lags all the time and crashes a lot if you don't have a super fast connection especially with YouTube's hostility to slower connections.

Yes, but only TV can give you on the spot coverage and news, and small kids shouldn't be on the internet. Not saying TV is better, but the internet is no complete replacement for our screens.

Internet wins this battle. That tell-a-lie-vision is a thing of the past and you can actually interact with real people than sitting on some sofa killing brain cells all day. Can the internet be addictive? Can it be a dangerous place? Yes, and this is all really based on the person choice and how much info they put out there of themselves too. I used to watch TV all the time growing up. Seems like there are no more quality shows anymore. Crappy commercials, stupid unintelligent reality television. Now I spend most of my time on the internet controlling what media I want to watch and what I don't want to see. However, I will say its much more fun to watch movies on TV. That might change in the future...but for now, pretty much my only use for television is watching the news, watching movies/documentaries, and the occasional show.
