Hi.I have another problem.I really don't know what's going on.Everytime I choose the chart and then I press finish,it doesn't appear the image of the chart i selected.for ex I selected pie chart and in the end appears to me just one line!!!where is the prob?is there something set up wrong in my Excel prog?I followed corectly every step.

MS Excel 2007 maintains the size of the pie chart and automatically add data labels inside it.

Can I also make a chart about words? Let's say I don't have numbers, but answers like yes or no.

Or do I have to turn it into numbers and make a chart about that?

@Kiwirnango yes you can heres how

if you go up to the green highlighted area at the top center of the window that sys "Chart Tools" Click the tab thats labeled "Layout". There is where you can edit anything for this chart.

Look for the "Data Labels" label and click on that. Go down to the "more data label options" selection. There you can change what ever you want your chart to demonstrate (the percentages, values,etc.)

I have done my "pie chart", and I tried doing it without the tutorial, only checking to make sure. I am using Excel 2007 so I pretty much had to guess where the functions were and I did and it came out beautiful...more beautiful than MotionTraining so I think he would be proud. Ahh...the pleasure of Excel. Please MotionTraining sir...can we have some moah...Love Him, just Love Him....

Ok i need help with this.. i did everything correctly but when i insert the pie chart, only a small square box show and nothing else. As i change to a diff style of color, the box also changes color so im guessing IT IS the pie chart but in a small square box. Any idea on how i can fix this ?

hmm.... when I choose the pie chart option the chart wizard doesn't come up and when I try to change the data labels independently to percentages it only multiplies the spread sheet values by 100. I'm using the 08 mac version of excel. if anyone has any suggestions they'd be much appreciated, thanks.
