there is NO programm like Garageband for Windows :)

u have a lot of features in Garageband like the AU effects which are very complex

or the Sound libary

there is a lot of Audio Software but its not so comfortable and good as Garageband or other Apple Audiosoftware (Logic)

I disagree. Although GarageBand is super-simple, and fun, powerful and fun software exists that is better than garageband, like FL Studio or Reason. But garageband has its place, and it certainly is fun, but far from professional.

Yap, the efficience of yourprogram depends on what you expact from your choise.

But the advantage of Garage Band is, that its really intelligent.

And its free if you buy a mac.

And if you look up the Mastering vids from Garageband on youtube, you maybe find some persons, who say its not professionel but otherwise not at all far from professionel.

But if you want professionality you better use another program. I compared Cubase and Logic. Im sure u know which one i like more.

Hey, what can I say. I'm a gamer. I like playin comp games. Even games that aren't high-end wont run nearly as smoothly on BootCamp as a real PC. I know my way around Windows better and like the feel of the OS more than Macs but that's just my opinion, and I completely respect those who think otherwise.

And it doesn't really cost an insane ammount of money to run Crysis smoothly. What really counts is the RAM. :)

I own a 20" iMac 2.4GHz C2D/2GB RAM/320GB HDD/ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO 256MB.

My Games run fine on it, most on highest settings with either 1280x720 or 1680x1050 resolution. ;-)

I actually upgraded the RAM myself, much cheaper than at Apple!

Apple would charge me 120 or 140 euros I think for an extra gig, I just bought a stick at my local PC shop for 55 euros.

the only reason SOME of the components cost more are because they are hard to come by with such good os x integration.

the only reason ALL of the systems are a bit more expensive is because they are made with better quality parts. all macs except MacBooks are made with anodized aluminum as part of their exterior.

we have nicer peripherals, too. you should get a wired Apple Keyboard
