the ipad 3 will prob come out sometime next year on march, if apple does what they did last time you could always sell it and then buy an ipad 3 if you want it that bad.

By the way, they tell you to never leave a stylus on the screen (that includes not leaving the pen on a regular Wacom tablet), which is why the iPad is responding to it laying there.
you can replace them, and you can pull the tip off. wacom always do replacement tips. i have a cintiq 21ux the new one. im going to order this and go buy my ipad2 today =)

Haha, the lack of comfort to write comes in a bundle with being right handed. I can rest my palm on the side of the ipad when i write.
