  • @fishingmaster13 how did u reel in slow med fast? And what kind of bait did you use?

  • @rinaldii29 Slow retrieve and we use 4 inch gulp mullet

  • Where you using braid or mono as your main line?

  • @jawsflounderace I was using mono and my dad was using braid. They both work great

  • can you make a vid for how to make a flounder rig and what bait do you use for flounder?

  • That's rad; you can just slide 'em right outta the water.

  • ur using a white gulp on a hook with a weight?

  • @nycfisher1 Yup. Just a simple flounder rig.

  • How did you use that rig?

  • @PierRat98 drag it along the bottom

  • what type of action is your rod heavy???

  • @12325elmo I think med-heavy

  • to bdizzle1989 we say flounder my son-in law has a t- shirt thta says "FLOUNDER WHISPERER " and that he is

  • @graciesluv Thank you for making some sense. haha

  • fluke... stop saying flounder. TECHNICALLY they are "summer flounder" but nobody calls them flounder...lol

  • @bdrizzle1989 It's not really a big deal...

  • @fishingmaster13 well it kinda is considering its a completely different fish?

  • @bdrizzle1989 You just said there technically called summer flounder.

  • @bdrizzle1989 actually, pretty much anywhere South of Point Pleasent NJ, they are mostly called flounder so...

  • what size hook did you use? how do u rig the hook with the mullet?

  • @nirknass Idk the hook size it's just a regular flounder rig. We hook the mullet through the head

  • Fishingmaster13@ what kind of bait is that and do u let it sit or reel it in slowly

  • nice, great video, anyone who can catch fluke off the beach is one heck of a fisherman! :) i did it once and thats about it, but on the bright side i have caught easily over 40 in my life time!

  • Are you doing catch and release or are you gonna fillet them? Flounder is suuuuuuch a great fish, great taste to it ;). Please respond.

  • @TheBumpJump The keeper size is 18 inches and when we do get them that big we will fry them up!

  • flounder size minimum is 15 in everywhere now. used to be 14 inland and 15 in the ocean, now its all 15. wonder why he says 18 in is min.

  • @OmGyourVideoSuxDang In NJ the size min is 18. I'm positive.

  • @OmGyourVideoSuxDang a 15 inch fluke has not been a NJ keeper in years. 18 inches now. Not sure where you heard 15 but be glad you weren't caught keeping one.

  • how are you using your bait. are you leaving it out in the water waiting for a bite, jigging it, or realing it in to the shore slowly.

  • @pauloldchevy A slow retrieve along the bottom.

  • Great Vid! The more I watch these videos the more I want to get to the east coast and try this.

I make bucktails for fluke and have pictures sent to me all the time of the fish guys catch on them, I cant wait to try them myself!

  • Nice.Just got back from a flounder trip myself.Working on the video now, should have it together inside a week.

  • where were you fishing

  • gotta love flounder fishin...we catch the flukes smaller cousin, the winter flounder here in Nova Scotia.

    Tight Lines :-)

  • What bate were you using ?

  • @559TheAndrew Gulp 4 inch mullet

  • Gotta admire the way you do what you do. I'm afraid I'd just "flounder around" with all that big water. If I'm not mistaken, aren't flounder good eating fish? Also, loved those crazy fish with the big wings; never saw such a thing before.

  • @Winkiedoodles Thanks for the great comment. Yes flounder are great to eat but they have to be 18 inches. Those fish with the wings are searobins and they are also great to eat

  • Great video man, keep em comen

  • Yay Flounder fishing. is this the same spot as last year you went too. i was waiting all year for your flounder vids. Thanks

  • @MrGloomis No problem man. I tried to make one sooner but the fishing has been really slow for some reason

  • @fishingmaster13 When you going to go flounder fishing again. i loved those doormats you caught last year.

  • @MrGloomis Depends on the tides and stuff but we should get some more trips in
