I went to the taping of one of what turned out to be the final episode of Half & Half...I was in California, went to see the tapings of alot of sitcoms (mostly UPN shows for some reason, lol) and that happen to be one of them....Just thought I'd share that bit of random info lol

No, I didn't meet anyone. I wish... lol I had been to a few other show tapings, so I knew what to expect (re-taping scenes over, over, over...and over, until the director is satisfied), and H&H was probably the best out of all the shows I saw. It's sad because they didn't really expect the show to be cancelled, they thought they were coming back on the CW

As for the show..some of the scenes had been already filmed, so they just played the footage over monitors, and recorded our laughter...the sets looked much smaller in comparison to what you see on screen...and I remember Big Dee Dee doing some adlib stuff (just small things) that didn't make it into the actual broadcast...that's about it.

o wow..how the hell did they do dee dee's apartment?..im assuimg it was a set off to the sed,but it looked so much like it really was upstairs!!..did they just have them walk upstairs only to cut away to them walking into her apartment on another set?

I don't remember whether they filmed in the set for big dee dee's apartment, or not..lol. I do remember seeing the sets of Mona's apt and Dee dee's apt (which were side by side), and the set for where "Andre" worked, (I guess it was where he worked, I just remembered him being in the scene, lol). That set was actually behind another set (Dee Dee's apt, I believe). We watched them film that scene live on the monitors.
