  • I love the lines of the Alpine A 610. What a neat looking car! As much as I love Mustangs I'd take the Alpine over the Mustang in this video any day!!! Now a '68 Highland Green Bullitt on the other hand.....

  • a mon avis, l'alpine est bien meilleure sur les perfs, mais la mustang apparaitra mieux (plus belle) pour les non connaisseurs, et, comme je disais a un ami, j'aime les deux, mais sur le son, la mustang est fierement devant pour moi :)

    - Looks gay for idiots who don't know about cars

    - Looks awesome for people who are aware of the rarity of Alpines

    Mustang:

    - Looks cool even for idiots who don't know much about cars

    - Looks much less cool for people who know about really exotic cars

    Mustang GT 2005 ... Bad chassis, bad roadability etc. - This car are unrulable at highspeed, its a muscle car with high acceleration, not more ... No comparison with the Sports-Car A 610!

    The rivals of the A 610 was Ferrari 348 tb, Honda NSX, Lotus Esprit, Porsche 911 Carreara 2 and not this cuke.

    Wohooo, my Mustang GT 2005 faster than the Trabbi ... what a comparison ...

  • Mustang sounds and performs better, but I'd rather have the Alpine for rarity and style.

  • @krudmuphinstudioz It depends on the year it was made. Fourth generation Mustangs (1994-2004) are completely outperformed by A610 (1991-1995).

  • 1. wiegt der mustag (was eher aussieht wie ein shelby gt) gerade mal 100kg mehr, 2. ist der nicht standart motorisiert, außerdem ist eine alpine also kein "es" sondern eine "sie" :D daraus folgt -> die Alpine

    trotzdem ein sehr dämlicher vergleich. aber wers nötig hat "v8 eats v6" omg

    wenn er was vergleichen will soll er eine a310 v6 mit dem mustang im sound vergleichen! dann siehts nähmlich andersrum mit dem aufessen aus...

    und wer sie meint zu höchstleistungen zu bringen -na dem sei so- wenn dann ein a 110 in bergrennen dann können andere mitreden da passt das gewicht zu ps ich mochte meine alpine 310 viel schrauben usw war ein klasse auto

  • was ein vergleich... nen mustag gt von 2005 der doppelt so viel ps hat wie nen a610 der schon ca. 20 jahre alt ist..

  • Du muss nicht falsch sehen. Es ist einen Alpine A610. Es hat 250 PS und geht bis 270 sache locker. Der mustang mit 300PS (falls nicht aufgemotzt) und etwa 500kg mehr hat kein einzige Chance was zu gewinnen gegen der Alpine in beschleunigung, und noch weniger in eine Strecke, da der Mustang fahrwerk ist einfach scheisse statt der von der Alpine. In seiner Zeit war der Alpine ein gegner der Porsche 911 Turbo (aber gegen 911 Turbo ist es eine andere Sache). ;-)

  • I've got an A610. I think at last count, there were 14 right hand drive models left in the world (and one of those is off the road), so exclusivity is right up there. It was a supercar in its day, but not by today's standards... 0-60 5.7, 165MPH Tops. It's an unusual car, but the Mustang's engine sounds fantastic.

  • my freind has a a310 right hand drive, contaced Renault and they say they never made a right hand a310 and that they dont know of one =]

  • Yeah, they probably didn't make any right hand drive A310s. My car is a Right hand drive A610, like in the film above. I was wrong about how many there are left though.. 41, not 14 LOL, stupid typing fingers.

  • I own a new Mustang but still worship the Alpine. To me it's like a French muscle car, and now very VERY exclusive. I wish my dad had kept his... congratulations on yours!

  • Thanks, that's very nice to hear as i was becoming slightly jaded with the car. For some reason the car in the video sounds a lot nicer than mine... Must be an aftermarket 'zaust. Now an Alpine with a Mustang engine, that would be interesting LOL

  • I'm note sure which one I would have. The Alpine A610 has probably better specs and is more sporty (supposed to be a super car, not a GT). On the other hand the Mustang is more modern and probably more comfortable. Maintenance would probably be cheaper on the A610 (simpler technology) as long as one can find spare parts.

  • I would without question have the Renault. Even if it didnt work.

  • this is not an a310 but an A610, and the A610 is far more exclusive than the mustang, older car but far superior in terms of technology.
