The crowd was totally disrespectful of David and especially of our National Anthem. It shows the cultural differences and how so many are only here to gain and not to become a part of this great country. Sorry but this group of people really displayed their true colors by ignoring the singing of our anthem. Shame on them.

i remember being there! i didnt get to meet him but i met george lopez and wuilmer valderama from that 70's show. he was in the other VIP room and that made me very sad!

SLAP SLAP...What is wrong with people. Every time (except one) that David has sung the National Anthem, people have been walking around with their hats on and now this??? My Father would have taken my "head off" if I even moved during the playing of the National Anthem. Not only is it being disrespectful to David, but to OUR country. GO David you have always sung your heart out for your country. No one else sings this with more emotion. LOVE you David!

Two comments: 1) David Archuleta did a fantastic and respectful version, with soaring vocals that still retained the classic elements of our National Anthem; and 2) IT IS, AND WILL ALWAYS BE, UTTERLY AND INEXCUSABLY DISRESPECTFUL TO TALK DURING THE SINGING OF OUR NATIONAL SONG.

He has the best rendition of America's national anthem. Thanks for posting this. I just wished the ppl realized that it is the national anthem and that they should have been quiet. The audience in the boxing arena during Pacman's and De la Joya's recent bout were more respectful even though the singer who sang the anthem at that time really sucked.

He was wearing a suit and the scarf should not have been worn. That was a formal event his fashion consultant should know how to dress him that night. The scarf was just out of place! Yes, Poeple should have been quite while the national anthem was sang.

That voice is something very special. I'm glad I'm alive at the same time as David Archuleta, so I can hear him. I find it a shame when occassionaly people are talking when he is singing. Some people don't realise there are lots of fans outside of the USA who would give anything to be there in person to hear David Archuleta.
