yes u could, u just go to address book, find the contact that u wanna set a custon tone for,then press the option button,scroll down to add custom tone.and thats pretty much it.

I am trying to find out how to edit the BB software so that i can use my ringtones and such that ive made and put them for different actions on the phone. for example, I want to make it do a power-down sound on shut-down. I want it to make a specific sound on turn-on. can anyone help me?
