@iwemattlack He is pretty balanced now and he is probably the worst character in the game without curse activated which is saying something considering how bad Tager is at the bottom of the tier list. In CT he was pretty strong because he can instant curse with any drive but in CS and CS2 he is much more balanced and easy to fight.
@beaux6 i believe it's trial 5 or 7 on his challenge mode, then you just repeat it like 5 times... this version is a slight variation of it though. but pretty much once you get that C bug to link with D bug, it's just jump qcf C, hold 6C until arakune reaches the peak (or middle) of his washing machine wheel, let go of C (while holding 6 still) and press 6D, then the C bug will come out right before the D bug, hold forward to keep em moving forward, then jump and repeat.
@myqueensindel i think if you consider high level competition play and such, this combo can't be considered broken. sure people can complain about how ridiculous it is all they want, but in a live match setting and considering how much work arakune has to put in just to get that curse meter up, let alone hit confirm to set up the loop while his curse meter drains... arakune WITH this combo is B/B+ tier. take out this combo, and god knows how low he'll drop
@myqueensindel He's not broken at all. He gets like 1.5k from precurse combos (unless it's fatal) and then he has 16 seconds to attempt to land one of these babies. Almost never are you going to actually get the full 16 seconds to combo too, you have to pressure and mix up your opponent like any other character. Characters like Litchi can get 4k from random hits on the opponent, at any time during the match; Arakune has to work the whole match to be good for 16 seconds. He deserves these combos.
