  • I was one of the over 2500 total laid off there! This Rocks!

  • Bro that video is AWESOME!! I need a beer too.

  • You Rock!!!

  • My man, you are one heck of a singer! The beer is so-so but the fight for American owned business is right on!

  • I love budweiser but I guess i'm going to have to switch it to Coor's damn. Its a sad year for beer.

  • Kiss my fuckin Glass Inbev. At this rate we wont own nothing in America its a damn shame

  • great video, great song, even though this has nothing to do with nationalism. Its capitalism at its finest, you cant always benefit from the system, at some point crap like this happens. who knows, maybe someone will file an injunction to block the sale (*cough* MO Senators *cough*)

  • America made Budweiser, and can break Budweiser!!!! Keep up the good work Phil.

  • what am i going to drink now.... AWESOME SONG, GREAT CAUSE!!!!

  • Great Video! This is so depressing! I still cannot believe that August Busch allowed this to happen! Anheuser Busch should remain an American Company! What will happen to those beautiful Clydesdales not to mention SeaWorld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens, and Discovery Cove? This is a true disaster! I totally love SeaWorld and Michelobe Ultra!

  • Mr Brito is planning to sell them off to the dog food company they are non core assests .

  • Dude, feel your pain...but damn, I had no idea you could sing AWESOME! I want more!

  • want am i going to drink now?

  • america is falling to other countrys and it s bull..... they cant take our beer thats just unamerican

  • America is being bought, and sold soon there will be no more owned American companies. It is a bargain for others countries once the dollar drops. NWO here we come.

  • Everybody says they're going to boycott budweiser now because it's not American but by doing this, you'll put thousands of Americans out of work. It's still the American people who work in the breweries don't forget! Loyal workers with families.

  • lmao

  • lol

  • Great sounding voice, you should be on those talent shows.. Like to hear what you sound like singing a good song..

  • brother...you can sing...while the comments continue to flow in, a heck of alot seem hell bent on bashing the taste of AB products...don't they realize this is'nt about taste...if it was, need we remind them that more bud & bud light is sold through out the entire world than anyother beer...there is a reason for that...a majority of beer drinkers like the tase, so get over your micro beers and the bashing of AB, it does not jive well with the facts...plain and simple. AWESOME SONG, GREAT CAUSE !

  • If all of AB's beers weren't god-awful, I might care more. Either way, if you want to support America, buy from microbreweries. Buy local, and support the American dream. You might even find out what good beer tastes like in the process.

youcrash47 is exactly right. This is a sign of things to come; American companies are rapidly becoming cheap, cheap, cheap for global investors. This would not be happening if our economy were properly managed. We are becoming slaves to China and Europe.

  • Histpolsci:

    Amen brother, amen.

"America the land of GREED, the home of where everything is for sale"

  • America's not for sale!

But seriously, you're kidding, right? You meant to sale you wish America was not for sale, am I right?

Creative lyrics, though. But that's all I'll give you. Politicians (left and right, Democrat and, yes, Republican) and businessmen have been selling America for years.

    You know that. Come on.

  • One down and 2 to go...

    Then nascar

    Then pro wrasslin

  • Get over it already, so narrow minded.

  • Well, there's always Sam Adams as America's great beer (and that's better and tastier than Bud ever was).

  • I agree with there is always Sam Adams , but I like the taste of bud more , I will have to learn the like Sam Adams ,after all it will be the largest American beer company left in the country.

  • I find most American beers to be bland, not all but most. including bud.

  • Good news. Schlitz is going back to there original formula. Thats my new beer.

  • Schiltz is brewed by miller which is owned by South African Breweries

  • Do a search for "Best Anheuser Busch Commercial ever" on YouTube and watch. Many might have seen this before

I'm at a loss for words now.

  • big fuckin' deal, are you really that narrow minded that all your drinking is Bud. Give me a break, there's more out there than cheap Bud. Drink something else, it'll still make you ignorant drunks so what's the big deal. They already said they're not changing the recipe, so it's gonna be the same beer, are we really that ignorant. Some of the best beer in the world comes from across seas so deal with it

  • Get ready for more of this. The US dollar has never been weaker against the Euro. With exchange rates 8 years ago, AB would have cost almost double (100 billion) - there would be no sale. As well as jobs being shipped off shore now goes US companies. It's probably too late but Bush needs to strengthen the dollar and save what little is left of his legacy.

  • This is a sad day in American History. I have childhood memories of those awesome Clydesdale horses pulling the old style wagon full of beer. I'm not sure if I can look at them the same way now.

Anheuser Busch should be ashamed of themselves considering their long American history. What a sellout. I can imagine the new logo now; Anheuser-Busch-InBev with the bottom reading "---The Great--- Belgian-American Lager".

Whose the next family business to sellout? Jack Daniels Whiskey?

  • i agree tubatim! i live in saint louis and we are budweiser people. i am about to turn 21 and this is the worst present ever! i can finally legally buy AB products, which i have been consuming ever since i can remember, and now i dont want to! AB is a huge part of my life and i am extremely upset they decided to sell. Lets hope the share holders make the right decision. AB forever.

  • It is the major share holders and board members that are forcing the sale. The Busch family does not want to sale but was thretened with a hostile take over from the board if they did not. If that happened then they would have lost everything, or just about, and the company would still have nbeen sold to In-Bev. So i do not blaim them for selling. It was a lost cause for the family. (continued)

  • My brother-in-law said it best "The third or fourth generation of a family owned business are the ones that usually sell". The first gen built it, the second made it great, the third or fourth are the ones who sell out. Oh well. and for those saying support your local micro, not all people have a local micro near by, some of use like Michalobe and Bud Light, I have tried alot of different beers and like some but my two favs ar Mich light and bud light. Sam Light is third.

  • i will still buy BL and Mich light though. Just not as proud about it, lol

  • and golfsports you are the biggest discrace to the human race i have ever encountered its an underlying law in my family that the only beer that is consumed is Anheiser Bush Products. by putting down the time honored name of budweiser like you did thems fightin words were i come from

  • are you from west virginia?

  • where do you come from..hickville KY?

  • this is bullshit i feel like my dog just got ran over my first beer was a budweiser at the tender age of ten and i have been enjoying this amazing beer for over a decade now bud was THE AMERICAN BEER in my eyes and now that it aint american owned no more i dont know if i can drink another beer as drastic as it may sound....What am i supposed to drink at the race now? Shit

  • GOOD im glad they were bought by Europeans, now there might be a mass produced beer in America we can be proud to drink because of taste!!

  • America has been for sale since 1776 and nothing is truly "American". It is a mish-mash of cultures that immigrated into the U.S. One thing that has been established in America over and over is that money rules the people's hearts here and it always will...

  • ME TOO!

  • FUCK EVERYONE IM GONNA KILL MYSELF NOW!!!! screw u anhueser bush!!

  • dont do it! thats what they want you to do lmao

  • Budweiser has changed its recipe a 100 times since the inception of the company to the slightly flavored water you drink today. InBev buying Anheuser Busch will only improve the product over time and possibly make Bud the great American lager it originally was.

  • Kiss the glass!!! Microbrew time

  • It's not just about the taste guys, cuz whether you're a fan of Sam Adams, Budweiser, whatever...it's a piece of history gone, and even if you do think Budweiser is just watery crap, it's been with us a long time, and it's sad to see the originality of it go.

  • They're not changing the recipe at all, the history is still there, it's still our recipe made here in this country by the same people in the same breweries. Look who doesn't understand how a global economy works.

  • I take it you understand how local economy works as well. InBev plans job cuts across the board in St. Louis. I'm sure InBev will stop buying the local rice and barley crop as well, given the cheaper alternative. Given Anheuser-Busch's role in the local economy, St. Louis is going to take it up the ass and take it hard.

  • bud/bud light is good for one thing, playing beer pong with. when you gotta chug half a beer quick, this watery beer is good for that. For a beer you want to enjoy, hit up your local micro-brew for that.

for the VP/SW ... i like it.. where can i get an mp3?

  • I drink Beck's and Guinness, so I could care less. Seriously... Budweiser tastes like bad water with yellow food coloring. Do yourself a favor and pick up a Stella!!

  • I'm still going to drink it!!!! But why all the gay videos when we search this...fairly ironic, dont you think?

  • Yeah I will not be drinking bud anymore. Wait, I never did drink it...

  • I say lets drink Lone Star. But Hey, great video, you nailed it!

  • did lone star change their recipe? I had a couple about 10 years ago and it was nasty. Just an opinion though. alot like it so it must be good to someone. But i also hate Heinikin too and it sells great here. oh well. Back to Becks

  • i'd switch to Sam adams except it sucks so i'll keep drinking my BUD!!!! I won't change just cause its not made here. Those who do aren't true Bud fans anyways!

  • CNN has this video in a much higher resolution AND better sound quality. Come on, You Tube, up the quality!!!!

  • Vote with your feet. Drink Sam Adams. How much more American can you get that Sam Adams.

  • Amen Texasliam. (My name is also Liam!) Sam Adam's is the shit! Best American beer around, hands down.

  • lolol for the related videos.

also bud sucks and so do most domestics.

  • I will never drink a bud product ever again

  • I for one want quit drinking my Budlight. The FLAG is 100% american made. The the foreign countries burn it, BUT....if you stop to think, they had to buy it first. :)

  • please, it doesn't matter who owns the company it's still the same great tasting beer. Besides, Coors did the same thing when they merged with the canadians (MOLSON). its hard to find anything today 100% american. We drive Toyotas, our baseball players come from Mexico or venuzuala. Our hockey players are Russian or Canadian. Just don't panic and not finish your Bud Lite. Thats ridiculous!

  • If this goes through I will never taste any Anheiser product for life. This is a guarantee. I don't like the idea of shipping profits to any foreign country. There is no reason for this to happen. If inbev can make a profit by owning it then there is no reason to sell it. I know that the label was made by germans but they became american and kept the money here. I also will not drink any inbev products (unless it's chimay ale.) totally outrageous corporate behaviour. not everything is for sale.

  • budweiser rules!!!

  • THANK YOU. i love people preaching 'freedom', which means the 'freedom' to only do with your company what other people want you to.

  • For all you Commie Bastards out there; YOU are what is wrong with America. You are the product of your parents, hate-filled, disrespectful and shallow in character. You are obviously no better than the former stakeholders of AB, except with a lot less money.

Sometimes there are more important things in life than money.

  • what a dumbass - listing a american achievement like landing on the moon with the crappiest beer on the face of the planet. wouldn't have been complete without somehow alluding that soldiers in iraq have something to do with a large corporation that makes terrible beer.

  • Oh no! Not my shitty tasting Budweiser! What will I do without my shitty-tasting beer now that it's owned by Belgians and not Americans?

  • Whats up with the recommended videos on the right side of my screen. McCain supporters may get off to this shit, but Obama supporters can do without.

  • Isn't McCains wife a large owner of Budweiser. WOW $52 billion can make you forget that people fucking hate you, and can buy lots of cocaine and painkillers.

  • We never made it to the moon. That was all faked so that the world would turn toward domocratic principles instead of communisim.

    WAKE UP AMERICA!

  • Get your meds adjusted dude

  • Budweiser is PISS beer! Try drinking a beer WITH taste.

Stop you crying and get a real job. Let the factory burn!

    Grow up!

  • Grow up? Your profile describes you as being 40. Perhaps you should take heed of your own advice. Douchebag!

  • great song! I actually threw out the Bud Light that was in my fridge when I hear about the sale. F 'em I'll drink Miller or Coors.

  • Miller/Coors isn't American either!!

  • The word "kiss" relates this video to the gay videos.

  • LOVE IT! great tune. I am a rap fan but gotta love a great song!

  • Interesting... Budweiser drinker for years...no more Budweiser for me. Screw that deal. Pretty soon everything we produce will be owned and/or produced somewhere else.

  • Oh dear...I just noticed that for some reason, the title of this song causes the YouTube related videos to show...GAY PORN! It must be a European plot to suppress this song! :)

  • Great tune! I thought that the deal might not go, but I suppose you can't blame them given the money that InBev finally offered up.

At least you helped bring this even more into the spotlight.

  • touch it!!

  • Phil: great song! I love it and put it on my blog. I will toast you with a Mich Ultra tonight in New York City!

    Kevin

    CBC 1984

  • ah thank you..tonight I am toasting you and all of New York as well...I have only been there once, but, believe me when I say this...it is the one city I would truly love to spend a hell of a lot of time in...CHEERS!

  • Great song and love the video. Keep up the good work!!!!

  • Incredible voice and presentation! If you keep writing, who knows---you could be famous soon.

  • AWESOME JOB...you sound and look like someone I know
