OMG, I just saw the clips on the other video. When I saw the scene where she has Dennis kneel on a broomstick, I remembered. I read this story on wikipedia a long time ago, and I kept it just in the back of my mind. But now I remember it, and it came to me when I saw the other vid. Poor Dennis :(
I can't believe that father simply turned the music up and never did anything to stop it.
They left out a lot of details for what else Lois did to poor Dennis. It made me so so sad to read what she did to him, it breaks my heart to know that he went through so much :(
He didnt deserve that wrong path in his life, he deserved so much better. Lois is a sick person and she deserves to be behind bars!
@bunkieb00 I did a law school report on this case back in early 2010 - as far as my report partner and I could figure out, Lois is still alive. What a twisted piece of work that woman is.
@The1stTaskIsDragons Don't you agree that they should NOT have been able to adopt those four other kids that they did in the '70s?? Those kids went through absolute torture in that home until they escaped to the neighbor's house..one of the social workers that was preparing the adoption had serious reservations about it, but they overrode her...just because there was a shortfall of foster and adoptive homes and they felt pressure to place the kids..thank heaven that these kids were older!!
This is a great movie, ture story, filled with a lot of emotions/ Gerri was not of age she was a minor, and her father just could not controll her so he signed her over to the state, and the state made her give the bady up and who ever said that she should sew the state, she did not sure how much money she won but she did get something. And I think she did a great job with the other 3 kids
@TwistedSister09 the real Jerry gave up her baby in 1962..they added ten years to the movie Jerry's story..back then, young mothers--especially unwed, so-called incorrigible young mothers--had little or no options available to them..what a sad irony this story was..

@sapphiretwilight1 yeah....just wondering because a few times I read 17 but one said she was 19 which didn't make sense because it also says that is was the ward of the state.......So, IDK. I knew that didn't make sence at all.
