I have loved this song since the moment I heard it, and still find myself humming the tune or listening to it while studying. Thank you for the upload of a great part of my childhood.
I'm literally busting my ass to figure this song out the right way.. I love this song to the deepest extent..and my sister has already learned how to play the flute part.. Cannot wait and I've almost gotten it completely figured out!
I used this piece for Thunder Bluff in World of Warcraft with Soundtrack. It took me until very recently to figure out it really matched the rustic tone of the village.
Wow. I was thinking of this song and was trying to find it here on youtube (didn't know what it was called) and you Best VGM'd it, haha. Awesome, what perfect luck.
hmm... i noticed that you havent put up the opening theme song for Star Ocean 3, one of the best openings for a video game ive seen and heard, really moving piece.
I played this game completely through twice. One of my favorite RPGs although the plot twist takes a ton of heat. I enjoyed the music, the battle trophies, and the combat system.
I destroyed this game, first time in level 115 before I finished it,second time in almost 250,I should go play it again and get 250,it's a real good game, nice music too.Good times,Good times.
Damn, I gotta find this game again. I borrowed it from a friend, but I guess I spaced when playing, cause I hardly remember the music. I love this track though. Especially the guitar; it all works so well throughout.
This is nice and calming but the most serene song that I can remember from a game is Underwater Frigate Reactor Core from Metroid Prime. Even more relaxing than this song.
So much better than SO4, what a waste of $. If you like tons of bloom (even in caves!), horrible voice acting, a shitty storyline, lots of walking, and changing CDs back and forth, and an uninspired soundtrack, you will like SO4.
I know that feeling. The Desolate Smell of Earth and the castle theme from Super Mario 64 have both also done that to me @_@
But, video game music and sounds is such a common part of my life, putting a runthrough of a game on my laptop [usually of something 'quieter' like Donkey Kong Country] has become a great way to lull myself to sleep. @_@
@SupraDarky Are you sure you're not one of my split personalities, but that's exactly what I did. In the apartment I was living, it was so soothing, chilly (in the game and the weather that time of year), I purposely had a save just for that spot. I'd turn it on just to listen to it and relax and nap on the couch. Not even kidding. lol
heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey...where's Albel "n" Mirage in da picture? D:

I forget which town this is from...the last time I played, I was near the end of the game.
This would definately fit in a Wild Arms game, that's for sure.

Amazing track. So much life and emotion. It's almost as if this song is a story of some old cowboy's life of hardships and missed opportunities.

Whats the Star Ocean Series like, by the way? I've never played any of the games before.
Duffman177 2 years ago
3 is really good though some of the characters are way more powerful than others
thetubeaccount 2 years ago
Star Ocean: Fun start, although a bit "rough"
Star Ocean: Second Story: Greatest in the series, no doubt, Big Lustful, Loveable work and characters.
Star Ocean, TteoT: Abit slower paced then the first, but the story is more extravagant, but out of all 3 so far I played, it's on second place.
All IMO of course.

Star Ocean 2 is the best in my opinion. it's actually my favorite RPG of all time.
