maybe use a scentless shampoo? Ever look into anything other than Costco's Kirkland brand? Your dog is clearly distraught and overwhelmed by its new scent.
my scottie does the same but instead of this i now blowdry & comb her fur in my bathroom after her baths because i cant do it with her running everywhere making everything wet! its weird how she sneezes & rubs her beard & chin everywhere! but i give her her own towel for that!
