Don't wait for missiles to launch, instead try burning people, which automatically launches instinct to shoot, time it better with rushing attacks, not wait for something to happen. I was like this before, and believe me, it does not work as well as you think. Do not go for reflection kill as mainly objective, instead use it as alternative.

Kills were nothing special. It may be my subjective opinion, but i too can go for deflected flaregun kill entire round and actually do one!

I find it difficult to reflect the arrows. They're very hard to see until they're close, and at the time you notice you've been hit or dodged it. As people have said, a lot of predicting going on when doing it unless you have very good vision.

i use the huntsman because its my favorite sniper weapon right next to Tribalmans Shiv. A skilled pyro with compression blast is a second thing that makes pyro deadly at times. and im beast with the huntsman. I was on 2fort and two engis with shot guns rushed me i got one in the face then one got up close to me and i moved around him and got a headshot

I never get the chance to actually use the compression blast to deflect anything. If I'm going up against a sniper, they're always a long way away and using the rifle, so I get headshot, and if I'm going up against a soldier, they get right in my face so I don't have time to deflect the rockets. ;_;

@19andoverlol Reflection is less of reflecting when close and more about prediction and sometimes just a little luck. A pretty basic strategy to work off of is when you see a soldier coming around the corner, wait one second and then blast. If he doesn't fire, reset your timer again. When up against the Direct Hit and Huntsman, it's definitely more important to focus on predicting shots.

I was once playing on 2Fort and i was pyro before the pyro nerf

and an enemy engineer had a sentry nest on the table and i was carry-ing hes intel and i randomly hitted airblast when i went around the corner since i heared bleeping, the sentry sees me and i airblast the sentry-rocket and destroyed the sentry, I died because of the sentry before it hitted back the rocket, enemy engi was dead and my medic took their from me intel and we won the round..

yh....it's all strategy. for example, a huntsmen is a ad choice for anyone unskilled, as they go close and risk getting owned, where as the sniper can keep you alive longer, but maybe not get as many kills....

@DispleasedEskimo Yeah, depending on how good you are with it, the huntsman can be terrible or great. It allows you to get a head shot on a close up enemy attacking you, since there is no scope, but if you aren't good at aiming with it, that same fact could get you killed.

How can I train deflecting arrows? I have walkway but I don't know how to spawn snipers with huntsman, any idea?

You can turn on sv_cheats and spawn bots in your own creat server, then do bot_mimic 1 when your across from it

,it will follow you moves, press one it will shoot. :D

he's actually using a 90 fov from what i can tell. his viewmodel, however is probably 75. default for that is 45. more fov = more seen. both for viewmodels and screen.
