  • Amazing! Looks delicious.

  • vegan donuts, sounds kinda weird, its all about the cream baby!!

  • so you make the dough, cover and let it rise for 1 1/2 hours. Than knewad out, shape and let rise for 1 1/2 more hours. And then you fry away? I wasn' too clear on this part.

  • what song is playing in this vid at the end?

  • i'm goin to the store to get me some donuts! right now!

  • hummm that looks so good!

  • What is in vegan cream?

  • Oh my god YUM! I want the chocolate one!

  • hi i was wondering how do you make the vegan cream? please reply :)

  • he does :/

  • yummy

  • The measurements are usually on the measuring cup. It is on mine.

  • I'm french but vegetarian, is anybody who could only sum up in order all the ingredients used in this recipe please?

I think it would be delicious and sweaty but I've never tried it before.

  • 420 ml water

    40g yeast

    100g sugar

    750-800g flour

    50 ml olive oil

  • Thank you, because I was getting upset trying to figure out if he was saying, mil/giga.

  • dude drooooollllllll

  • holy crap.... hungry now :( thanks

i don't have a deep fryer ... would baking them or frying on a pan do justice?

  • Oh and any salt?

  • does it change the texture of donuts if u kneed them with dough more after the rise?

  • wow this is the most unhealthy vegan food encountered

  • recipe 4 eggless chocolate fondant....

  • @payalpuchi there is never eggs in fondant. He did not cover them with fondant, but with vegan ganash. Ganash is chocolate melted in cream. Use soy/rice/almond milk instead of the cream.

  • The avoidance of meat is likely to reduce the risk of coronary artery disease, [heart disease] because meat is the major source of saturated fat... High consumption of red meat has adverse health consequences: thus vegetarian diets tend to impart health advantages. Dr WC Willett, Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School.

  • Nothing worse then getting a jam donut with no jam!

  • This is evil...in a good way. :)

I like how he says, "Just delicately carve into the middle..." as he saws through it...hehe.

  • SERIOUS dough skills. Nice work!

  • love love love it , kareblue ;o)

  • ^^^^

    passes out

  • Does anyone know what the volume equivalents are for the weights he uses for the ingredients?

To clarify, he gives most of the measutements in grams, how many ml is that?

  • It's better to use mg for powders because when compressed their volume changes.

    I don't know the ratio sry :p

  • im 20 years old and iv just recently became Vegan. And it makes me feel Sick that for 20 year i ate sooooo much meat

  • they looook sooo damn gooood!!!

    n_n

  • oh my holy yum

  • oh my holy yum

  • I am not a vegan but dont mind cooking vegan meals. A tip for vegan bakers, I saw a video the other day where molasses was added to dough to give it a smoother, buttery texture when you bake bread, cookies, or doughnuts. Enjoy.

  • These look scrumptous. Is there a difference in the dough if eggs are not added? Thanks.

  • I dont have a deep fat fryer so this painful for me to watch!! I miss doughnuts!!

  • you dont really need one, just a sauce pan with enough oil in it that the doughnuts dont touch the bottom

  • Donuts...probably in the top 5 of things I miss from my omni days. These look fantastic. Those carob donuts you get from vegan essentials are not so great. I am glad I found something new to try!

  • I made these last week and they were DELICIOUS! I've been a vegetarian for two years and a vegan for one year and ever since I've gone vegan, I've been dearly missing donuts! I tried some vegan donuts I found at Whole Foods but they were gross. These were delicious and satisfy my donut cravings. Even my non vegan family loved them!

    Vegan for life

  • these look phenomenally yummy

do you make vegan eclairs too?

food fun and faith in your ability

  • Those donuts look really delicious. I was curious about one thing though. What is the vegan cream he talks about? I'd like the recipe for that.

  • I'm dying to try one of those now! Quick question though.. What is the time and temp when baking?

  • I haven't had a vegan doughnut since I visited Melbourne and went to Vegetarian Orgasm. I don't know if I'm bold enough to attempt these but the demo certainly helps.

  • Thats funny cos i used to work there doing all the desserts...

  • what is the differnece between long boys and ecaires

  • hi soschadao

Chocolate Eclaires are made with a choux pastry and it actually gets cooked twice. once in the pan and then again when it gets baked off. And it uses eggs to bind it. It is more pastry than dough. Hench dough nuts shortened to donuts. hope you enjoy

  • i will try this

  • YUMMMMMMMMMM

  • Did you use pastry flour or just plain flour?

  • Hi Faith. For this recipe i just used plain flour as its made more like bread than pastry and you have to develop the gluten to give it good structure. Hope you enjoy.

  • Hey! Nice to see you back! And with a swanky intro no less!

I made some of your hommus the other day--very easy and delicious. :)

  • hey jen i thought you were a pine nut. oh well. thanks glad you enjoyed. i recorderd 30+ new vids so will hopefully have them up soon.

  • Well, I am definitely still a pinenut! But sometimes I am also on the shore.
