To answer some questions: This is not any sign language per se. It has many ASL signs, but also many that are not, or are used incorrectly. So it's more just a bastardization of sign language in general.

Also, sign Languages are different all over the world, but continental European sign languages have a common linguistic ancestor in Old French Sign Language. ASL is also derived from old French SL to a degree.

TKF isn't well known in the US...too bad..but sadly I don't think they would have made it here at the time they were most popular in other parts of the world.
