@MrJomama12341 Because I only had two of those peppers, and want to grow them myself next year, and have some extras for future years, either to grow again or trade with other people for more exotic varieties.

If you are wondering regarding heat, seeds are negligible with capsaicin. It's the placental tissue (veins) that holds most of the oils that cause the burn.
