I agree about the gaing weight thing. I started training at a local gym 3 years ago and I've gained 20 pounds of muscle but I look thinner than when I started. I couldn't be happier about the strength and muscle I've gained but I still have that extra layer of, I hate to say it, fat. Only way to shed the extra weight is to control the diet, meaning smaller portions and sticking to it no matter what! Eat clean!
Sometimes when you first start working out your body retains water so you will gain that water weight, or you could be gaining cause your building muscle. make sure you are drinking more than enough water and getting enough electrolytes for what your losing. :)
By the way, how tall are you? Because in your video, you said that you were 140lbs and that's how much I weigh right now. But you look slimmer than I do. I've got a friend who's also the same weight, but he looks totally slim. But that could be because he's a guy an 140lbs on his 5'10" stature isn't much. I'm 5'4" in height and am trying to get down to 125lbs
REMEMBER muscle weighs more than fat!! Don't worry about your weight number. It's the inches. & it is easy to gain 5 lbs of water weight on your cycle. Make sure you are drinking enough water that helps to drop weight as well, and mini-meals 4 - 5 X a day vs big 3 meals helps increase your metabolism too
Mommahass-I want to commend you for swallowing your pride and telling it like it is with you. That is accountability at its finest. Just watching the video, and coming from a stranger, that obviously does not know you ;-) bring the intensity more..It really looked like you were not giving it 100%..I am absolutely not trying to insult you or anything, in fact I admire you very much. It is just an observation based off only the video. Keep pushing play, by the looks of it, you have some great spt.
Don't worry if you're on your monthly it's possible for your weight to be all over the place. Your body is just holding on to as much water and fat as possible during your monthly to make up for all the blood loss. Also if you muscle weighs more than fat. You're good no worries! :)
It is totally possible to gain that much weight during your period. Don't even sweat it! Once your period is over you will go back down again and you may even discover you actually lost weight.
i know i would love to get back to my military weight which was the same as yours at 125. but that was 8 yrs ago and before 2 kids. so mu sister and i have teamed up and vowed to work out 5 days a week
i have heard that if you work out too much you could gain weight...also if your not eating enough protein, ( which is what helps burn the fat) that might not be helping...plus like you said your on that time of the month so that also has to factor in with the wieght gain...i always gain like 5 lbs...which i just you am on that time...so i have just started my slim in six again to loose more weight.... i hope to be back at my pre prego weight 5 yrs ago which was 125.
@tigerlily66442 I want to be at my highschool weight which is 127 lol! Hey when I was on week 6 of TF in Dec I was at 131 so I got super close! I did it once I can do it again... just have to buckle down. It was fun indulging but honestly not worth it and I will rem how I feel right now when I feel like I need a :food break: again. I want my flat tummy back and what are these love handles that grew over night LOL!
thanks for everyones support, we all have our bad days... weeks.... months LOL! i got there once, and I will again :) I just CANT NOT WAIT TILL I GET THERE AGAIN!
I just want to say that your videos really motivate me :D You make me believe that change is possible. Even though I'm a beginner (doing Slim in 6)...I can't wait to try out some of the programs you've tried!
I'm sure things will turn up once period goes away. I can see that you're really dedicated and I'm rooting for you to reach your goal :D
Opps stupid phone. Anyway the cleanse is water loss and I found 2-4 days after a cleanse I gain that weight right back because it wasn't fat loss. And I always gain like 2 lbs when I'm on it. So hang in there and you will lose it no problem :-)
you look great! keep up the good work!

When you do these fitness workouts, you MUST measure, NOT weigh. Muscle is what you are building, and muscle weighs more than fat.
When you do these workouts, you are losing inches faster than pounds, and that is what will put you in smalller dress sizes.
Remember, MEASURE, DON'T WEIGH!!!!

It could be that you are working out more and not eating enough, so your body is storing food, calories, etc..
