I can't belive people actually like the Aeroplane version better. The Aeroplane version does not even come close with regards to matching the passion and sincerity of the original version. The Aeroplane version is a cute little song but the original is inspirational and touching in a way that the Aeroplane version does not even come close to matching.

However, I think that, in this case, the original version is superior to the remix. I do like the Aeroplane version, though.

The passion that the lead singer emotes directly influences the overall enjoyability of the song. In other words, the Friendly Fires version just sounds better (to me) and maybe that's because it triggers physiological reactions within myself far beyond what the Aeroplane version engenders.

Their mix is completely different to the original and compliments it beautifully. If you ask me both mixes are excellent so why not enjoy them both? Horses for courses i suppose :)
