I really liked this video especially the end. We are wanting to have a self sufficient farm. I'm from Indiana and have six boys and a girl. The black horse you were breaking for a neighbor looks like ours. Is it a Tennessee Walker? Introduce us to your family.
@kowgirlkim I would highly HIGHLY recomend starting a self sufficient farm, for these are verry uncertain times we live in, and it wil bring a family closer together. That black horse was a Morgan, he was the MEANEST horse I have every delt with, that rascal bit and kicked me so many times I lost count!!! LOL

I live in WV and this is truly inspiring to me. here in about a few months I'll be (hopefully) working in the mines as a diesel tech and making quite a good sum of money but I want to enjoy the simple, yet hard life of self sufficient living (with some modern luxuries). the old ways ahve always been my dream :D keep it up!

Young man, I hope you make more videos about your experiences on your homestead. What you're doing there is not "too much work" if that is what is in your heart. I am truly envious of your family. Please, more videos from your forge, your gardens and animals. How you do things. Your slide show was excellent!
