  • this made ma happy :)

  • I am so inspired by you being inspired by me. There are no rules. Keep Zentangling. Marie

  • make some new videos on this .... there very good !!! (:

  • These are wonderful! I love that you kinda do themes, whether consciously or unconsciously.

  • This has really inspired me! Im going to start doing this! Ive been really stressed with school and homewotk! I think this will really help me!

  • I see the money that is being made on it and that kind of bugs me, but far worse is the idea that it has to be a certain way, the right way, the right paper, the right pen . . . . that seems really uptight and therefore not Zen at all.

RELAX LET IT GO. ENJOY YOUR ARTISTIC FREEDOM. JUST LET IT FLOW.

Let go of the idea that it has to be a certain way. Find your own voice. Then it will be real.

  • This whole Zentangle thing is getting out of control. I have done this kind of work for years, not knowing anything about Zentangles, and have loved it. To me the whole thing is about freeing the mind. Letting it just flow out of you, hence the word Zen.

  • I meditate daily. Usually for about 20 minutes. Now, i split it in half. And i meditate for 10, Then zenDoodle for 10. After that i do my yoga lol :) It really works to free your mind, and get relaxed for your work out. or day. Witch ever you like. :) Thank you.

  • Thank you, I think that if Zen-tangle is supposed to be relaxing then you shouldn't have to worry about the type of paper, pens, techniques etc. For all I care it can be done on the corner of your newspaper....(which is what I used to do)...lol

Thanks so much for stopping by....

  • I just started doing Zentangle & I showed it to a ladywho had taken classes & she told me everything I was doing wrong :( Wrong paper, wrong pen, wrong size. I decided to watch some videos here & yours is very encouraging, Thank you. I think if it's art then there is no wrong way.

  • well done. that is what i understand zentangle to be. freehand. whatever works for you and as you say it's your winding down time. very nice

  • thank you so much, I truly appreciate your sweet encouraging comment ;-)

  • @10angelkisses i love your art , i draw a lot but ive never knew that this type of drawing was a Technic but i d that a lot thanks for showing your art, love it, big fan all ready and it the first time i watched your video

  • Thank you for sharing. I give you so much credit for posting these even though you are not sure if you are doing it correctly. My opinion is "crafting is all about creativity and relaxing" and that is what you are doing. It has opened a whole new world to me. I am in my 50's and as a child I would doodle much the same way not knowing anyone else would ever like it. I loved it and it did relax me so much. You video is the first I have seen and I am now addicted.....THANKS!!!!!!

  • Your zentangles are fabulous! I am doing my first one now and it looks no where near as good as yours. Just beautiful!

  • These look great. :)

  • your really great. you should do an egg shaped one with something inside it like it, like a bird. i think you could do a lot with that.

  • Did you post an update? I want to see the rest :-) You are a natural !

  • For a beginner, you are doing a fabulous job!! Your images are just stunning! I know a little about Zentagling... there really aren't any "rules" when creating. You can trace like you've done or do it freehand. There's no right or wrong with this, just let your creativity lead you. I would love to see what you've done since February when you first started. Please do an update. :-)

  • Very nice :) I want to start doing this. Do you sell your zentangle journals? If so how much?

  • These are VERY awesome! :D

From what I've seen, a lot of zentanglers recommend using the Pigma Micron 01 point pen due to it's "superior" archive-quality ink, and supplementing with some larger points of the same type for coloring in large areas. I'm currently using them to zentangle and am totally in love! You can find them on amazon by searching for "Micron Pens"... the top set is the cheapest I've found!

  • They are pretty good for a person that just started, ive been doing this kinda art all my life and didnt even know that it was called zendoodle or zentangle until just recently, my mom is the one that taught me.

  • Wow LIly Me encantan tu dibujos. What a creative way to relax. I just spent the better part of a half hour looking thru the website. I love that it can't be done incorrectly. Thank you for sharing. I need something like this to relax each day. You've inspired me to try it out! gracias

  • @scrapchicky I have been having a blast with my Zentangle Journal. I will have to share my newest designs. Maybe I'll do it right now!

  • These are SOOOOOO good! I tried to do a couple, and they are NO WHERE near as cool as yours! What a great idea to keep a journal!

    Hugs, Diane

  • @SylviaNM1 Thanks Diane! I am having so much fun "doodle-ing" :-)

  • Your Zentangles are AMAZING!! This was the challenge I'm part of this week so I'm actually doing some VERY simple examples! They are NOTHING like yours at all! It's so much fun to do! Thanks so much for sharing yours!...Nancy :o)

  • @nickelnook1 Thanks Nancy! Please share your designs, I would love to see them :-)

  • @10angelkisses Oh, mine are so very simple! They'll be on my blog in a little while! :o)

  • This is really cool. Im going to have to give this a try.

    Hugs Chandi

  • @chandiwalsh Thanks Chandi! I would love to see some of your designs :-)

  • Love your Zentangle journal! Great idea to put them in one place. I did a few zentangles myself a couple years ago. it's very relaxing. Love how yours came out! TFS

    Hugs,

    Paveena :)

  • @myautumnsunset Thanks Paveena!

  • omg, i just bought 3 books on ebay and some pens. i did this back in the day,(middle school, high school), by just doodling, so when i saw those books, i thought id get back into it. yours look great. just bind the next one with white cardstock. i had a few books form years ago that ive been hoarding, there isno ryme or reason to what pens you use i did buy some micron pens, but i used touse a black pen or color pencls or markers. tfs

  • @laneauxpaula What type of books and pens do you use? This is very relaxing! :-)

  • This looks really cool...you are a good doodler! I doodle alot too but not sure it looks this good! lol! Thanks for sharing and good luck with your book!

    *gina*

  • @Scrappinology Gina, I think "doodling" is my speciality...lol
