@pingpongpons If it's hurting around the nail, you're digging in too hard between the strings. You finger should glide over the top of the strings lightly as though across a flat, solid surface. Don't try to hit each string individually. Hope that helps.
@chachasammusic first the shop ower tuned it for me then i just played around for a while and searched a little bit on youtube to see what i can find about ukulele´s :D so there was you ..
i´m not a "ukulele player" but it´s fun so maybe i get better
finally a video with a woman. i can not hold it properly! i have a thin soprano and if i hold it with my forearm it wobbles about the place. any tips?

My index finger starts to hurt as it strums downwards, is this natural?
