@graham81ful A clean head shot would be a very humain way to go. The Marauder is very accurate out to those yards.

@graham81ful Up close, sure it could kill a fox humanely ( less than 20 yards). But from 40 to 50 yards the pellet loses A LOT of its power (like about 150 fps) so it is not smart to shoot at a fox from that far away

Do a chrony test. You lose anywhere from 200-400 psi when depinging. The power is still there but not the fps. Tried it and chronyed it. Make sure you have all the stuff together so you can reassemble back to stock. Dont do it.

I average 930 fps consistently off 2500 psi with my depinger installed

@AirgunOps I own 4 marauders (2 x .177, 1 x .22 and 1 x .25). I have depinged all 4 and not lost any fps on any gun. Not sure what you did worng with yours, but you did something quite wrong. Also there is no change the PSI readings (though you probably lose about 5 cc's of air space)

Does the tubing affect psi readings when installed in the reservoir, and is there any difference in discharge affecting fps?
