Beautiful ship, sleeker and more menacing than any other Federation ship. Looks like it would fit a more martial less exploring role for the fleet.

just imo, this is easily the looking ship for all of star trek...its sleek, it works, and it seems more structurally strong then most star trek ships i've seen.

I thought the warp cells had to be up for warp. I thought that is why Voyager had to manually move the cells???

@megamus thety dont need to be UP they just cant be in line (HORIZONTAL) with the ship, so up or down is fine

Looks like a lovechild from a Sovereign (length, detail) Intrepid (weight (chubbyness) ) and an Akira (general, nacelle configuration).

All in all though, spunky lookin' ship. Looks like it could fly through a moon and only scratch the paint. Beefy!

Mark Kingsnorth intended the ship to be a future version of a Romulan/Federation hybrid ship, assuming the Romulans would become allies in the future

It's an interesting design in that it doesn't look like every other fan-wank ship that crops up. But I do agree that it looks like a cross between a Sovereign class and a Klingon ship. Not necessarily a bad thing, but you'll REALLY want to deal with that at some point.
