Razer Lachesis pointer jump when on soft pad

It's not the Lachesis, it's the native Windows enhancement for mice.

Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options (tab) > Uncheck "Enhance Pointer Precision"

Problem fucking solved.

I have the Destructor now.

It's better, but still not perfect. You can only use this mouse in combo with a headset if you want REAL precision in games.

I tried Kone,,, nothing special, strong marketing sells. Cant say it is a bad mouse, but I cant say that lachiesis is bad either, they all have cons and pros. Headset :S well i have logitech z5500 and i can put them on 25% of power and cursor will not move,,, and 25% of their power is LOUD if that is not enough db then ear problems will occur soon if not allready :D

You'll never be able to cause ear problems with that such subwoofer sets.

I don't even play loud and the cursor moves. Let's just face it, the mouse is utter crap. Kone is awesome, it's not about marketing sells, because I used it, and I know it. If one would be, then it's Razer alone.

The shape and use of it is godlike.

On the crappy Lachesis the cursor even moves when you press slightly on the chassis. I wonder what were they thinking.

You missed the point, i was talking that headset is not must when, and Z sys is enough for ear problems there is enogugh decibels to do that. Godlike :D that is marketing sells full :D i am not fan of razer at all i just buy what is the best at the market at the moment, lachiesis was then, and it stil is IMO kone is stilll green imature product, but this is not the subject here...

@REDxFROG Well dun forget that laser technology IS THAT Sesnitive if u tap the chasis it will move cuz the mouse is slightyly moving and it detects it But that jumping problem REALLy DOes suck when i switched my mat from Razer Sphex to Goliathus It started jumping and stuff... The mouse itself doesn't move at all.

Only the cursor does.

When I put the mouse on the table, which is also pretty slippery, the cursor does not move. It's because the table has a different reflection and the cloth in the mousepad moves to the bass which the laser can see and thinks the mouse moves.

You can squeeze any other mouse the cursor will not move.

It's a design mistake within the Lachesis. The chassis can bend and thus moves the laser around which is bad quality.

I know, check the description box at my vid, it says: " @ mantis control disturbed by Z-5500,,, so do not use soft pads with lachesis, ((mantis control pad in this case)), use destructor or simmilar "

destructor is a harder type of mouse pad, so there are not such strong vibrations like when used with the table or any other solid pad :)

btw fw version is now 1.91 and problem still presist... so,,, Lachiesis has mean name but deep inside "he" is such a sensitive guy... a bit too sensitive :D

Same problem. Bass causes to make the cursor move. But not on my white table. It's impossible to do anything against it. Maybe with the right mousepad? I don't want to use a plastic pad. Check out my vid of the Lachesis ^^
