Out of so many Naruto characters very few can stand out. Jiraiya was one of the few awesome chars that just took on six bodies and yeah he did lose. He also killed at least three to four bodies by himself. The only assistance being his Frog Kuchiyose and the two old frogs that allowed his Sage form. Killed three, fought six, killed one before his death. If Nagato couldn't revive his bodies who thinks Jiraiya actually could have won?

pain is a tank but the only reason he had such an advantage over others was because 99% of the ninjas who fought him had no clue what he could do or what he was potentially capable of or how his powers worked. if most of the ninjas knew, i personally think they would have either beaten him or barely lost. jiraiya is a perfect example of this. jiraiya could have been in unlimited sage mode awith his two elder toads helping him, if he knew everything about pain he probably wouldve won
