There was one part of the precise controls that i kinda disagree with. if you do the bear wrong, then sometimes it will do the eagle. This is a huge problem when you get to a katakara chaingunner.

the sidequests got boring after a while, the combat was the only part of the game that i found to be extremely addictive. in my opinion, this game NEEDED something similar to the challenge mode in batman: arkham asylum where you do a special challenge or kill lots of enemies in the quickest and most stylish manner possible, and post your score on an online leaderboard, the wii IS capable of leaderboards, and Nintendo Wi-Fi Pay-and-Play is nintendo's version of DLC, which would be awesome as well

Brilliant game with some amazing gameplay. In fact this is a game that keeps calling me back more than any other FPS this gen. The only thing that let it down was the repetitive nature of the game, if they iron that out and keep the same controls then Red Steel 3 is going to be an amazing game.

@cloudskipa don't mean to sound like a tool, but red steel 2 isn't even an FPS. there's too much swordplay for it to be considered a shooter. just a pure first-person action game.

Didn't mean to spam the page by triple posting haha. But yeah I see your point, it's not a true FPS, however I still prefer it to FPS games on the PS3/360 in terms of gameplay.

If it were a straight FPS it would lose it's charm as the swordplay is the best bit obviously. But I do think they nailed the gameplay there, for Red Steel 3 I would want a lot more gunplay though, kinda make it 50/50.

I honestly think Red Steel has the potential to become a AAA franchise.

@cloudskipa you might be right. red steel 1 was a single A, but red steel 2 is a AA, so red steel 3 could be a AAA. however, i do not think they should change the graphics or controls like they did with RS2, because RS2 nailed them both. i hope red steel 3 is a much longer, bigger game with much more variety (both gameplay and environments), better objectives, a challenge mode similar to batman: arkham asylum's, and the ability to perform combos. maybe a sandbox style game would be good!
