MMS will be available September 25, 2009 you will just need to connect your IPhone 3g or 3gs (1st generation not available) to ITunes and update the software on the 25th.

TOM TOM is not the first tern by tern on the iphone you can get it free win you jail brake it so tom tom is not the first get your info right and th tethering you can do already with out a jail broken iphone you just need to know how to work the phone. i have a 32 iphone 3 G S. i does shoot videos. and the camera and video are great quality. It doesnt have mms yet or turn by turn direction.

i just got the 3GS and on the instruction booklet, they have a lil page showing MMS. Theres suppose to be a lil camera icon next to where your typing a text message, but that icon dosent pop up wheni start typing.

The iPhone 3G and 3GS support MMS but AT&T doesn't have the capability right now. I called Apple today and they confirmed AT&Ts website saying that it should be working by 'Late summer 2009.'

i heard that verizon was talking to apple about an iphone. Do you think verizon will get the iphone 3gS this summer if they were to get one, because that'll be a waste for me to change to att and t if they cant even use tethering or mms?

I don't think they can get the iPhone until Apple's contract expires with AT&T ... which is in 2010.

Also, there have been talks that AT&T is trying to keep exclusive rights to the iPhone.

Nothing is certain, but I don't think there will be a chance in having the iPhone on any other carrier at least until 2010.

Actually the IPhone 3G is out in T-Mobile but the problem is that it's in Germany

But i would buy the phone in Germany and bring to the U.S. and get it activated here

Actually the IPhone 3G S will be hitting the Verizon markets on June 2010 - 2015, Apple, At&t, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile are going to be taken the IPhone into there family of phones :)

you can really find anything on the app store no joke lol. I use just the normal stuff( i have an ipod touch) but ill b getting me this iphone 3g s. I use basic messenger apps like aim and yahoo, facebook and some games they have really good graphics, I use guitar programs to help you with cords and such, you can do so much. I even use it for my homework with this one app that gives information for news going around.

Actually the MMS and the regular plan will be something seperate, you have to choose a plan and then if you want texting or MMS you simply just add it to your plan

you get a plan and then you decide if you want MMS or not but its going to be $20 extra for unlimited

No ... all the apps will still work on the 3G, you just won't be able to shoot video, or do a couple more things on your 3G ... everything should work though with the new software update though.

From what Ive been reading about AT&T services, coverage and support;

If they loose their apply contract in 2010, they will probably also lose a HUGE number of customers!

I am genuinely surprised that their service appears to be so bad?!
