  • Wow! Thanks for sharing this video! I drove out to Jesus Northwest on my vacation in 1979. Keith's concert was well worth the trip! So cool to see a portion of it here on youtube all these years later.

  • I thank the Lord for Keith Green! What a creation God made through his short time on this earth....God is good all the time!

  • Wow.......I never saw this one before. Fantastic. This was too cool.

  • Thanks for posting this. I was there that night. I don't live in Oregon anymore, but even so..still--I run into someone who was there that night.

  • He could really stroke those ivories!

  • "Works on the record!" LOL, Keith!

  • @stevecav1138 That was hilarious!

  • I remember that summer night in Brooks Oregon. I would love to see the whole concert. I've heard that night was a turning point in Keith's ministry.

  • so pure...such a clean and authentic expression of the love of Jesus in his heart.

  • I was here at this concert. The Lord blessed my little 9-year-old heart and He hasn't stopped yet. God's truth is beautiful and I am so thankful for his servants that reveal that beauty through music. Thank you to whomever posted this. I praise God for his wonderful love.

  • My mother might cry when I show her this video. Thanks for uploading!!!

  • so cool!!

  • Keith has wonderful music! I love to hear him play his piano and sing!

  • I was there that night. A baby in Christ. Thank God for Kieth's admonishing us.

I think no one who heard him that night ever fell into the "name it and claim it" trap. I cant wait to go home to Jesus , I want to meet all my brothers and sisters. Want Him to say to me "well done thou good and faithful servent""

  • Wow, what a talent! The voice and the way he played those piano keys!!!!

  • this music touched my heart so much. The power of holy spirit came in my room this afternoon while I heard this music. God Bless the you.

  • One of the highlights of my early Christian walk was seeing Keith Green at Jesus Northwest in 1978. Does anybody have video? If so, please post it.

Keith delivered a message that cut through all of the religious junk and brought true conviction. His music truly ministered. I shared the song "Song to My Parents" with my mother and she rededicated her life to the Lord as a result. As I said, his music brought true conviction. He was an amazing person.

  • Josiahem: is there more? Especially any of the message?

  • Ah, Keith. Those were the days when christian music rose up out of what God did in the lives of those who heard it. No managers or record companies that dictated "what the public wanted", I was there, about 60 yards back on the left side. Keith saw the temple merchants and the inevitable group who thronged for the spiritual high. Hey, it's the same today. A far cry from the Real Thing. Keith kept throwing his crown at the feet of Jesus, which is why He used him so mightily. Come quickly!

  • Thanks so much for posting this. If this exists, what about the rest? I had this concert audio only and over the years it has dissappeared. I have tried in vain to find it again. Do you have the entire Keith Green performance from this? (sorry about using the word 'performance', I can't think of a better one at the moment)

  • Well you hope. Frankly I love his music but the concept of this sort of drug induced state of perpetual "happiness" does not sound so happy to me. sorry.

  • Don't you ever wonder why the hell a christian singer would be killed at such a young age? Your God isn't very merciful

  • Because of the mercy of God, Keith Green is in a much better place right now than you and I.

  • If it wasn't for Keith dying, his biography probably wouldn't have been written. I wouldn't have read it. My life would have never been changed. God IS merciful. If you knew Keith, then you would have known all he wanted was to be at the feet of God. Now he is. THATS mercy.

  • very true. if he never died, i really wouldnt have heard about him, and his music of Jesus' words wouldn't have moved me so much. I'm only 19, i would have never heard of this christian singer from the 70's. now, i love it

  • Truly the same for me

  • Jesus Northwest was Great and now its gone no more need to bring it back Last time i was there dc talk petra newsboys , stryper and many more was great but people got hurt doing mosh pits and they cancelled after that

  • That should raise the question: what spirit is modern "christian rock" partaking in? Food for thought, given the fact that Lucifer was the chief musician in Heaven before the fall.

  • I was there as well and remember his performances being truly moving and sincere. My take away to this day was Keith's chastisement of those selling "Jesus junk" at the concert. "Stick a fish and it and sell it for $20." Still goes on today. Thanks for posting this. I hope Keith's gifts can continue to bless new generations.

  • I was there too..I'm from (or was) Bend, Oregon. I still run into people who were there that night. Lives were changed that weekend.

  • One of my all time favorites - thank you thank you for posting!!!

  • Thank you for posting this one. I was actually there as young teenager in clark county, WA. It was an amazing weekend. Young Amy Grant, Mike Warnke, Andrea Crouch, and many, many more wonderful people brought thousands of us to a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • It was awesome wasn't it? I will never forget that weekend either. So uplifting.

  • Oh man. I remember my dad playing his CD's for me when I was young even before I became a musician.

Now, did he not play with a session band live? Or was this just an exception? lol

  • Keith never played a concert with a band,he found it too distracting, notice he doesn't even want the audience to clap along so they won't miss the lyrics, that was Keith!

  • I was wondering about that too.

  • cancerxofpassion...Why would you even think Kieth Green would ever "need" a backup band?

Have you ever experienced KG's PRODIGAL SON SUITE???

  • i love the beginning that piano intro. how it sounds like classical music almost

  • He was a child prodigy at piano

  • Keith's music that the Lord gave him has has a part in moving me to live my life for Jesus.
