This song take me back to 1990, that was when I first listened, such good memories. I've tried to get the album "Heart's Horizon" without success, so for those who have this great material, please treasure it!!
Al is the consummate performer. I saw him in concert at Radio City back in 1982. (I'm a young 50! LOL). He gives you all he's got. Thanks for posting.
Esse video é um verdadeiro show, basta ver o que o camera faz, anda desce escada, gira e da close sem uma tremida, além da alta qualidade da musica de All Jarreau.
Super. I grew up with his music. This beginning of the 80's. Better then the bulshit now, spreading legs and fingers and thinking that ther're f.. mafia..... it's not music... listen to George Benson Al Jarreau, Chick Korea, and further..... Alexandro Sanz, is also good. Good luck my friends.
Thanks TD I had actually two of his CD's and he blew me away he did a remake of a Stevie Wonder tune called "That Girl" and loved it and did a song called "Don't Let Go"
Tanzanite Diamonds this is dal4018 the song Don't Let Go from our favorite sax man is on a album he did in the 90's its called Fusebox go find it will make you a fan 4ever!!!!!!!!!!
I like this version, because it sounds so close to his original recording.
I remember seeing him in concert a few years back, and being slightly disappointed, that he had changed too many of his 'original' versions -- when performing live. I wanted to shout "Al, just BE Al!" But I respect his talent too much -- I would never interfere with a live performance.
Bobby Caldwell (who wrote this), also does an excellent version of this "live", with lots of sax.
I must admit that I feel the same. I like the tight, and snappy beat of this version. But, as you stated earlier, both versions are very good. Jarreau is a great artist, and performer, but I think Caldwell's voice is better for this song. So many choices!
not familiar with "tell me" , but he's done some great tunes. saw Jarreau live awhile ago. 2 keyboards and his great voice. have you heard the Larry Carlton and Robben Ford or Carlton and Lukather ? just caught Carlton and Ford live, great show...
Que c' est beau la musique des années 80' !! Que c' est beau la musique de Al Jarreau !!

Wirtten by the most talented songwriter ever: Mr Bobby Caldwell. And I like his version better. Although Al version is cool also.

Terrafirm I must disagree with you I'am a huge fan of Bobby Caldwell but when it comes to this song only A Jarreau has the pipes to sing this song.
