Et dire que tout ça c' est fini ....

  • Nobody can beat him in his kinda of music.Easy listening, jazzy poplike music.

  • bobby caldwell does a great version too; hearts horizon was an amazing cd; love this guy!

  • every song on hearts hirizon i found brilliant, this being one of them.

  • This song take me back to 1990, that was when I first listened, such good memories. I've tried to get the album "Heart's Horizon" without success, so for those who have this great material, please treasure it!!

  • SUPER!

  • point taken terrafirma

  • Who plays the guitar on this V? She's so COOL! (ds:John Robinson, b:Freddie Washinton, tp:Petit Stwart, as:Michael Paulo…)

  • That's the ticket !!!!!!!

  • I adore this man . Hope he has fully recovered from his recent illness abroad.

  • Kad je nesto vrh, onda je najjebeniji vrh!!!!

  • can't stop watching it, best of the best!

  • Wirtten by the most talented songwriter ever: Mr Bobby Caldwell. And I like his version better. Although Al version is cool also.

  • I have been following Al Jarreau since the -70, He keeps the music alive all the time!

  • Man this is the best Al song! :D

  • fucking AWESOME Al....

  • I LOVE THIS SONG, just listening to my favorite tape.... Heart's Horizon!

    Wanted to share the vibes!

    Get up and dance!!!

  • Please tell me someone has got this song. I've been looking for this version (not oryginal album). What's the name of this version?

  • in what album this song?

  • love this version..

  • Le ridicole capigliature anni 80.

  • Al Jarreau is so SMOOTH!

  • Al is the consummate performer. I saw him in concert at Radio City back in 1982. (I'm a young 50! LOL). He gives you all he's got. Thanks for posting.

  • Bobby Caldwell LOL!!!! Their is no comparison with my man Al Jarreau. Bobby Caldwell is a bathroom singer like me! ;-)

  • One of the great masters, Bobby caldwell's version was perfect but al makes this his own.

  • Esse video é um verdadeiro show, basta ver o que o camera faz, anda desce escada, gira e da close sem uma tremida, além da alta qualidade da musica de All Jarreau.

    Muito bom!

  • Super. I grew up with his music. This beginning of the 80's. Better then the bulshit now, spreading legs and fingers and thinking that ther're f.. mafia..... it's not music... listen to George Benson Al Jarreau, Chick Korea, and further..... Alexandro Sanz, is also good. Good luck my friends.

  • What is so awesome is that he comes in, does his work and leaves. Bam!! That is just Al, which means only the best.

  • There are no words simply master

  • It's great to look back on your childhood and say, yes that music was a great memory.. even a lifeline!

    Al J forever! xo :

  • That man playing the sax is a personal favorite of mine Michael Paulo.

  • You've got great taste! Michael Paulo is very talented. (My favorite Michael Paulo tune is "Forever" from his Midnight Passion cd.)

  • Thanks TD I had actually two of his CD's and he blew me away he did a remake of a Stevie Wonder tune called "That Girl" and loved it and did a song called "Don't Let Go"

  • Tanzanite Diamonds this is dal4018 the song Don't Let Go from our favorite sax man is on a album he did in the 90's its called Fusebox go find it will make you a fan 4ever!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TanzaniteDiamonds Hey TD this is dal4018 haven't heard from you in long time how are you.I forgot your fans of Al Jarreau and Michael Paulo

  • @TanzaniteDiamonds Hey lady haven't heard from you in a lonnnnng time where have you been

  • OMG!!! :)

  • not sure about the doc playin on this one, JUS LOVE THIS VERSION OF DA TUNE...

  • is that Doc Gobbs on percussion from Emeril Lagasse's band?

  • He is, indeed, "The Man".

I like this version, because it sounds so close to his original recording.

I remember seeing him in concert a few years back, and being slightly disappointed, that he had changed too many of his 'original' versions -- when performing live. I wanted to shout "Al, just BE Al!" But I respect his talent too much -- I would never interfere with a live performance.

Bobby Caldwell (who wrote this), also does an excellent version of this "live", with lots of sax.

  • Simply put he's THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • beaut clip . a great song sung by my hero al.

  • rite, he sounds REALLY GOOD doin this tune. better than when we caught his live show years ago and that was good. glad we enjoy this one, Mark

  • my favorite song ever i like it more than the bobby caldwell version this one is more up beat

  • I must admit that I feel the same. I like the tight, and snappy beat of this version. But, as you stated earlier, both versions are very good. Jarreau is a great artist, and performer, but I think Caldwell's voice is better for this song. So many choices!

  • Terrafirm I must disagree with you I'am a huge fan of Bobby Caldwell but when it comes to this song only A Jarreau has the pipes to sing this song.

  • dal4018: Well, let us agree to disagree. Both singers to a great job at this.

  • EXCELENTE CANCION!!!!

  • I love this man. His energy is so great!

  • not familiar with "tell me" , but he's done some great tunes. saw Jarreau live awhile ago. 2 keyboards and his great voice. have you heard the Larry Carlton and Robben Ford or Carlton and Lukather ? just caught Carlton and Ford live, great show...

  • Excelent song! great rhythm ^-^

do you happen to have the video called "Tell Me" with him? I've been looking for that one but doesn't appear to be uploaded yet...
