  • This is from one of the best hiphop albums ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • cansomeone tell me who sung the chorus?"

  • Best hip hop track of the 21st century, period. Still love this song after all these years.

  • I like Lil Wayne and Drake and all, but this blows them out of the water. So much better.

  • this is true hip hop for sure... if you guys wanna hear some complex lyricism, check out my channel. peace

  • Seems like whatever I do... i should be singing on this track. Just kidding. I love this group. Real, true hip-hop. GOMAB

  • More fire!

  • 9th Wonder<3

  • LITTLE BROTHER HAS REVOLUTIONIZED THE NEXT LEVEL SCHOOL OF HIP-HOP ALONG WITH THE ROOTS,COMMON, THEY ARE SO UNDERRATED TRUE UNDERGROUND UNDERDOGS! THIS IS HOE IT SHOULD BE DONE!

  • This. Track. Is. Legendary.

    9th + LB = Perfection.

  • NEW HIP-HOP

  • these funny cats dont remember me , these chips on my shoulder getting stacked

when my pockets catch up poohs never turning back "

  • And actually they still are together...but not by the title little brother...BTW 9th wonder and phonte are going to be performing in DC at the Black Cat on Oct 16(or 19 can't remember atm)...hopefully big pooh will be rollin wit em...then they might do a little brother track

  • I agree... Little Brother is the shit!!

  • I do not deal with anyone who says bs about little brother. Fuck if they are not together anymore, this album changed the game

  • Dope beats dope rhymes no hype man no bling just raw talent and effort put towards a great album!!!

  • THIS IS CLASSIC MATERIAL HANDS DOWN!!

KEEP THEM PRETENDERS AWAY FROM THE CULTURE.

KEEP CRATE DIGGIN, YOUTUBE SURFIN, UNDERGROUND LISTENING.

I HONESTLY CAN NOT THINK OF TOO MANY ALBUMS THAT ERE BETTER

  • so bumping

  • "Dope Beats, Dope Rhymes.....this Hip Hop aint really that hard"

    word.....

  • Yo I ain't never heard a act to blow and go global

Then come back home and still be called local

And when we onstage the people they all front

  • Great Album!!!

  • We spent the last year writing rhymes, doin' shows and choppin' records,

And traveled all around the world to spread the message,

'Cause ain't no rest for the weary when it comes to my team,

We only sleep on December the 32nd!

DJ's dissin' the album before they check it

Dealin' with their managers and program directors

And even though I try not to stress it,

Sometimes it feels like a waste of time and not worth the effort!

Phonte is ill on the mic! he goes hard on this.

  • !DOPE!

  • took our wacks to the radio and they straight played it - thats dope

  • @Nicoletteworth wax not wacks. I know what you mean though.

  • True music that is simply captivating. Damn I miss music like this

  • This is real hip-hop at its best!

  • so many aspiring artists on youtube. more bad than good. but if youre looking for an artist that is lyrically talented check this dude out. came across him a few weeks ago and have been following him ever since. just type in Available in HD Week 10- My Zone

  • oooooo,

  • The absoluteBEST LITTLE BROTHER album ever put out!! This track is too hard.

  • dude this album is the shit. track are mint

  • gives summer vibes. love it!

  • this song chokes me up for real. this about the struggle whether your an MC or working at Mcdonald's.

  • Seriously some of the best shit ever recorded right here. Stunningly good hip hop.

  • 9THWONDERFUL, RAPPERPOOH, PHONTIGGA = BEST EVER

  • BEAUTIFUL MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • on time for your mind one time for mind

  • THE CHORUS GOES INNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Check out Strong Arm Steady-Best of Times you'll see what I mean. I know Phonte starte singing more and more on the second and third Foriegn Exch. Albums( Connected way more my style) but those albums were a little too "next direction" for my taste but Te kills the hook on the SAS record and then tops it off by also spitting the best verse too. It's too bad Phil da Agony spits weakness to open(William Cosby sweaters??? Way to far of a reach) Fortunatley Krondon is able to pick up the sla

  • Damn LB in top 3-5 groups of all time easily and I think Phonte is easily in the Top 5 of best Lyricists all time plus dude gets extra creds because dude can actually sing with no or very limited use of any if that auto-tunes bullshit. Pooh and Te then went out and proved all the haters and naysayers wrong after 9th left by dropping dope record after dope record

  • to the one dislike..... this is "not enough"....c'mon dawg!! u must be the nigga who wears sandels and caprice

  • @dvmh17 LOL hes the one who wants the beat to make him hot and hold him down haha

  • the beat is fire!

  • I bought this album twice (lost one) watched them live 3 times... and now I'm still wondering wtf happened?

  • @lightpeacelove Same here pretty much. Haven't seen them since 2007, but it was 3rd or 4th time and were amazing. i had their albums but this 1 idk where it went..but still, I hear ya..this was a phenomenal group, and I'm surprised their last album would be in 2010.

They needed much more recognition than they got. Every friend that I had listen to them, fell in love w/ them. Hopefully we will see some solo work w/ them collaborating. Would be awesome.

  • @mhaze210 They had some pretty good solo work, esp. Phonte with Nicolay (Foreign Exchange) which was dope.... This album, the Listening and the Chitlin' Circuit mixtapes was my shittt! All my friends I put on to them really felt them too regardless of what kind of hip-hop they were partial too.. I just love how they sound w/ 9th's production, guess that's why I was a bigger fan then..

  • @lightpeacelove hellyea, i still love listening to Foreign Exchange, it is so soulful...takes me out of a bad mood, like now lol...came back to this song again real quick and saw your reply. this is amazing to listen to while buzzed. lol.

  • Real Music!!! and 9th is so magically on the beat

  • Love rap that sends a message to the kids, communities, jail, and other places like the hoods where we need it. I like how people say just get your money but money isn't everything and watch who you take it from! Do music! Not just for you but for people's heart and soul!

  • 1 person dont have a sense fo music.

These songs keeps real hip hop alive.

Thumbs up if u like the Minstrel Show!!

  • @Gerge79 dude. shutup

  • Perfect

  • fuck phonte goes hard on every fucking track but people dont rap like this anymore, this my biography too. hesa fucking genius

  • who tha fuck disliked this huh?? show urself!! then kill urself!!

  • from the soul!!!

  • its history in tha makin....when i write...its for all of NC...call me...the state pen....

damn phontae............one of my favorite mc's

  • i miss these niggas man.......i used love this album senior yr in high school.......

  • real muzik!!!!

    what else to say

  • Hip-Hop still alive

    /watch?v=xieuUV6eYak

  • Yo,this is one of the only groups where i can honestly say : ALL THEY SHIT GO HARDD !!!!!

  • chorus lyrics are so ill. real. seems like whatever i dooo, is not enough for youuu, i sacrificed and gave you my life but you still want mooore.. exactly how i feel abt ppl in my life.. you give them ur all and it's still not enuff, its never enough

  • One of them say,"I only rest on Dec 22",what was he meaning?

  • @mariyasdad He said " we only sleep on Dec 32" meaning they never sleep...

  • One of them say,"I only rest on Dec 22",what was he meaning?

  • this song reminds of everything in my life right now. beautiful

  • they deserve so much more recognition

  • That Chorus Really Gets To Me..I'm A Rapper Too, And I Know What It Takes.....To Get To The Point Those Verses Were Wavey As Fuck But That Chorus...

  • @keezy92 it's sampled from a song called "Easy Easy Got To Take It Easy" by Teddy Pendergrass.

  • BREAKING NEWS Teddy Pendergrass is DEAD

  • I wonder Y Little Brother wasnt on Wale & 9th Wonder's tape, Back to the Feature?

  • One of the Best hip-hop albums of the decade......still remember the day i picked it up....those were much better days...

  • "im really at a lost for words man... i dont know what else to say...dope beats dope rhmes, this hip hop s*** isnt that hard man"

That quote should be on a billbaord or a t-shirt.

  • @cementprint this is 1 of the best beats ryhmes of all time

  • @cementprint this is true

  • @cementprint fuck yeah. make a movement to make Little Brother get back. A movement like people getting behind Conan Obrien. hip hop needs all 3 of little brother to get back. and fucking BUY the albums to support these niggas.

  • @cementprint Phonte got enough quotables in my opinion ''No stones thrown at the throne that I sit on'' or one of my favorites.. ''I got your head still bobbin and my verse didnt rhyme''!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Peace

  • rebel without a pause reference/line borrow- "radio. suckas never play me"

  • Good looking on the upload!

  • True indeed you know it's Teddy as soon as the sample comes in.

  • RIP TEDDY P.!

  • That Teddy P. sample is ridiculous.

  • REAL nice track

  • now this is REAL hip hop

  • one of my wake up burn joints love this here peace ...

  • One of my favorite tracks on this CD..These dudes shoulda went platinum off this album..even BET wouldnt play em...smh..

  • That's becuase BET is rule by people who care nothing about the people or the culture; they are just trying to sell records an subvert any strides to positive messages or images that project us in a more favorable light!

  • @jblackmel So true it's good to see that some people out here can see the truth. We need to spread the truth as fast as we can and everywhere

  • yea you gotta sellout to get pub, thats the bullshit

  • who ever is singing is killing that joint..LOve it!

  • That is the incredible Darien Brockington, check out his two solo cd's, his work with LB and the amazing Foreign Exchange, he is on another level

  • its darien brockington

  • still want more!

  • Soulful shit, indeed. :)

  • yesss finally tha lyricsss

  • Lovely. ;)
